The statue has an upside down crescent on it, so evangelicals tend to associate that crescent with the Islamic symbol. If that wasn't so, they would not always mention the fact that crescent moon symbols are on mosques. If you read Robert Morey's book about the moon-god theory, check his sources. According to scholars and historians (the experts), that statue represents a king or deity.

By the way I checked th reference you had there (john 18:1-6) jesus replies to a seeker who is looking for jesus of nazarath by saying "I am he". Well the question remains, how can you correlate john 18:1-6 with exodus 3:14, The reply from GOD to Moses was "I am what I am" again this is not the literal translation!. The question Moses put forth was what was GOD's name when the israelites ask him this question. GOD according to the bible said "I am who I am", this gives an impression that GOD said to moses that he should not ponder on questions asked by isrealites and he has no bussiness asking such questions to GOD.

The greatest of Jewish religious thinkers - Rambam (aka Maimonides) wrote more than 800 years ago that Muslims are perfect monotheists and the Jewish Law says if you don't have a synagogue around you should enter a mosque and pray there.

@TheSaffyone Muhammad would fast for 3 days a month. Ramadan is a modified version of it. Praying 5 times a day comes from the Jewish several prayers a day. A lot of the customs came from Jews. They try to say that Allah is pagan because the pagans used the title for their chief god. El was used by all the Canaanite tribes and Yahweh have Egyptian origins. There were a group of monotheists there at the time also. The burden is on them to prove that the pagans practiced the same rituals.

If that's the since, then how do people know they worshiped the moon god as the supreme deity. There is pre Islamic literature that dates back to 1000 BCE. Why is there no literature with the rituals on it though. Their supreme deity could have been the cloud god or something.

The statue has an upside down crescent on it, so evangelicals tend to associate that crescent with the Islamic symbol. If that wasn't so, they would not always mention the fact that crescent moon symbols are on mosques. If you read Robert Morey's book about the moon-god theory, check his sources. According to scholars and historians (the experts), that statue represents a king or deity.

I dont have problem if the word Allah was actually came from the word moon god. If what was told by Robert Morey was true it was just part of the history how the word Allah came from. That all. But we muslims are not worshipping moon god and Prophet Muhammad also did not worshipping moon god.

lol... First Allah does not mean curse, what uo are thinking of is the Jewish word "aloh". As for "ilah" it means "a god", Allah is a perfect name for God all mighty that cannot in Arabic be made into a male of a female gender, nor used in plural form. You just don't know what you're talking about. Just another sheep being fed lies, and you're not only swallowing them, you're spewing them out for others. BTW Arab Christians use the word Allah to refer to God in their Arabic bibles.

If by scholar you mean someone who has studied his religion extensively to know what's right and what's not , then yes, I am a scholar. I don't take anything I'm told at face value, and I've learned more about all the things non-Muslims are critical of regarding Islam than probably you. I've heard both sides on almost every issue there is.

Yeshua (Jesus) is the one who spoke to Moses. And the name given to Moses is "I AM" (Exodus 3:14)...the same "I AM" which Jesus used to identify Himself before both those who came to arrest Him (and who fell backwards upon hearing this) (John 18:1-6).

By the way I checked th reference you had there (john 18:1-6) jesus replies to a seeker who is looking for jesus of nazarath by saying "I am he". This does not tell me that "I AM" as you quoted refers to when moses met GOD for the first time. In Exodus 3 it says " I am the God of Abraham .... " and verse 14, the hebrew goes a different way there "ehyeh asher ehyeh", the translation of this differs. ???

In the earlier texts of that passage, the word 'he' is not found.
In Hebrew, the term Yh, if my memory serves me correctly, refers to the 'I AM'

Well the question remains, how can you correlate john 18:1-6 with exodus 3:14, The reply from GOD to Moses was "I am what I am" again this is not the literal translation!. The question Moses put forth was what was GOD's name when the israelites ask him this question. GOD according to the bible said "I am who I am", this gives an impression that GOD said to moses that he should not ponder on questions asked by isrealites and he has no bussiness asking such questions to GOD.
