Napoleon Total War Campaign Map

i think they should make a total war game, but make it like a mix of a strategy game and a fps or a third person shooter where you can take control of a unit and fire the gun and aim, make the battles more fun (although there already very fun)

I really wish they would either release another expansion for Shogun 2. (That allows you play with the Isle of Hokkaido and the Korean Peninsula.) or remake Rome. Just imagine what they could accomplish with the Shogun 2 engine. The Legionaries would even properly use their Javelins(Actual name has escaped me)

The next Total War game needs to be a game game titled Imperial Total War or something. It should take place from 1871-1918 and cover the Imperialism of the European nations through the end of WW1. You could play as Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Austria-Hungary, Russia, the Ottoman Empire, USA or Japan and the campaign map would be the first TW game to cover the entire planet. It would be the most game in history!

@ImperialTexas I'm not too sure on WW1. You get into artillery and chemical warfare and the distances. Meaning huge ass battlefields and crap. Also, some research tree and vulnerable production lines.

I know people asay this is a remake of empire, but ive been a fan since shogun and i say the games seem to come in stages:

Shogun + medieval, simmilar style

rome + medieval 2, simmilar stle

empire + napoleon, simmilar style

then shogun 2

when you look at them the gameplay and style is simmilar but there are changes meaning the latter is better, for example i always went back to rome as i loved it mjore than medi 2 but i still think medi 2 was better as it had better graphics and gameplay.

actually this is a stand alone expansion of Empire :) it was mentioned by the producers but of course if they wanted many to hear that its just an expansion some wouldnt wanna buy it lol

the map is just zoomed in and its been scaled up so that everything is bigger and looks better. NTW is actually a great game.

guys, just think about how small RTW's map was and cut them some slack. They are trying to streamline it to a single man, I agree it is to expensive. It should have been a large $30 expansion of Empire. Would have had better replay value then.

the creators of the total war series brought the true meaning of the saying "the world is getting smaller" in barely a few months (waiting for another total war to come out) we have seen whole continents disapear.

What the fuck, not even North Africa??? , I thought that in the coalition map you would be able to recreate the pyramid battle in your own and win it of course. I know that it is available in a separate campaign but come on... Now I understand why everyone says it has a really low replayable value.

This map is jus to small. Large in size but to few provinces. All the total war games lack sufficient provinces. I always played total war with total conversion mods like 'rome total realism' and 'stainless steel' because they added a lot more provinces and it gives a larger feel to the game.
