Wow, Youtube is handling that pretty cool. It basically means that they're paid off the copyright holders for the song and might support it with ads on your stuff. Pretty cool that they're acting exactly like a venue would do if you covered a song there.
@e1337r0ck3rX7 Yeah, it's OK. My point is how painful is to watch your back because nowadays everything is a infringement of copyrighted things.
I'm not a kid, when I was in my teens it wasn't a crime to copy music into tapes and now you can get suited for thousands of US$ because you downloaded 10 mp3, this is not bullshit but doggy shit. You think I'm exaggerating?

I wonder what has to say JS Bach who died about 400 years ago, I don't think he would complain also lol ;)
@maulazyhola hi guys, thanks for your comments and I hope you won't mind if I join...what I can't understand about this is how the record companies/artists don't see it as free advertisement and embrace it; I am a fan creating a cover for other fans; I am not stealing anything...the video clearly states this is a cover of a track by Aphex Twin so wtf...you could say I wasn't exactly clean if I earned money from the YT ad system, but I am not a YT partner and I don't display ads...
@fischek I fully agree with you, great cover btw. On the other hand I have a youtube video which is making me earn money. In my case it is not a song, but a tutorial.
So, I've done the hard work and paid licenses to the software company, so I own my copy.
Now, youtube had offered my posting ads in my video, great for me. I mean it is not a big deal but I can earn a couple of bucks for my work while other people are learning for free.
thanks - you can listen to the Nord Lead 2X demo...that's an idea in progress, as well as the NL2X and Roland D-50 vid - that's also an idea I've been working on
well they are two different machines...normally you would want something like an emx first and the kaosspad to sample with....get used to a groove box like the electribe series first, then add on
The patch has been modified...I'll see if I have the information on what I've used as a starting point - the other device is Korg KP3, which is a sampler and effect processor.
also which effect are you using on the KP? is it just reverb/filter?

No action is required on your part. Your video is still available worldwide. In some cases ads may appear next to your video.

This stupid copyright-violation hunting they're running really leads to nowhere...
When you share music, you are giving the chance to trade culture too.
Who gives a damn about the guys who make the profits?

Why pay for a good meal then? When you give away good food for free, you are giving the chance to trade culture too.
Who gives a damn about the guys putting in more hours a day than you work in a week to make the food?

@e1337r0ck3rX7 Come on, this isn't Aphex Twin playing, it's a person showing what a Nord can do.
I don't think Mr. Aphex would be upset about it.
