The thing about ancient astronaut theory is on the one hand you could argue we are not giving enough credit to ancient humans, by assuming they couldn't have possibly done all of that stuff themselves. On the other hand, by assuming it was aliens it makes you wonder when they first came, and whether we would ever be intelligent without that intervention, and also how could any life form become intelligent on their own if we required help and possibly DNA manipulation (who were the first?).

i think some of his theories deserve some attention. Couldn't the egyptians have just carved in their inscriptions as the pyramid was being built. Don't know how many times i've see how theoretically the pyramids were built on the history channel. As a pyramid is built you still have sunlight to work with and can complete your inscriptions without the aid of mirrors or torches. just a thought
