    Thanks, U made my day!

  • @dirtydoni what you talkin bout willis? and great track

  • @MasterGodfather97 , as the majority of the piece is in D minor you can play the relative major key of F, which means you can use F Ionian, G Dorian, A Phrygian, Bb Lydian, C Mixolydian, D Aeolian or if your feeling adventurous E locrian. Throw in some D pentatonic licks over those scales and your good to go!

  • @devondave22 Lol that is such a ridiculously 'guitary' way to say play F major or D minor blues! None of those modes exist until the harmony underneath them creates them. E locrian only exists over an em7b5 chord, they're just patterns of F major in this context and should only ever be thought of a such, it's the harmony that creates modes, not the little boxes you choose to play in!

  • @gypsydjango in fact I should've said they're just patterns of D Aeolian or D minor as that is the 'home' key. However it's put, just play the damned notes from F major and if you're feeling adventurous play the Blues note, G sharp.

  • @devondave22 Im confused why its C Mix and not D. I played D mix over it with the root note on the c and it sounded good but your saying I should have been playing C mix?

  • @devondave22 Im so confused!

  • what modes can be used for impro?

  • Straight up D harmonic Minor (Aeolean # 7) up until the faster part at the end, where D Mixolydian works perfectly. Hope that helps.

  • @MasterGodfather97 any just go with it

  • thanks !

  • Thanks, it's great

  • Perfect! thank you!

  • wish it didnt have the voice
