The competition is run by a sponsor who is an Ad company. They clearly state in the "official rules" that "Any entry will be eliminated, regardless of vote total, at any time ..."

It doesn't matter how many votes you get for your video, the sponsor will only choose winners based on whether your video and person can provide ad revenue for them.

I did think of my own version of this. The Bear walks up the drive, and the guy comes out with a shotgun. He starts blasting. As the bear runs down the street, more people open up from doors and windows with a variety of weapons, more devastating than the last (think belt fed). As he gets to the last house, the garage door comes up exposing a guy loading a cannon, who smiles at the bear. In the next scene you see the guy in the family room, with a bear skin rug. Chevy, real cars for real people.

It's called climate change because people like you are ignorant enough to say "oh no, its not warmer EVERYWHERE! So it must not be warming!".

The fact is that there is a general warming trend throughout the planet (oceans, air temp, land etc.) while in specific local climates will change - some that used to be hot might experience unnatural cooling, while others might experience heating trends.

Read a scientific paper and stop believing everything the Tea Party tells you.

I've interacted with polar bears, and they will not hug you, nor will they eat you unless you threaten them. @paragonshadow Also, polar bears swim to catch prey: they are not fish and cannot survive indefinitely in arctic water any more than you could. The earth will not necessarily flood - the increased greenhouse gasses will create a warming trend that slowly melt the ice caps and decrease the reflection of solar radiation, which will then cause that radiation to direct itself on the ocean, which will continue to gradually heat until the dissolved gasses in the water are released into the atmosphere.
