Your support is much appreciated while we work to share the fact that marriage is a universal right for all people - not matter what their sexual orientation or gender identity.
I wished this video was closed captioned or subtitled. Or post the site where I could find the transcript online. This is a really important issue. I would really love to know what is being said. Without captioning, subtitles or a transcript, Deaf folks are completely shut out of this video. If we are talking about love, accepting people for who they are, maybe we could actually make an effort to not exclude a large group of folks: Deaf people. Your work is important. I'd really love to k
I honestly think that it will just take some time. Look at it in the same light as African American rights. I understand that it's a totally different concept, but it has the same general ideas. Equal rights, non-hate, and people coming together. It won't happen overnight, and I'm sure everyone is aware of this, but all we can really do is peacefully speak our minds and think positive. And I think we (the gay community as a whole) are doing a pretty good job of just that.
Great video!!! Because, as some would like us to believe, it actually IS discriminatory to treat same things differently. Love is love, and ALL citizens should be granted the freedom to marry, regardless of sexual orientation. Keep up the good fight for civil rights!
Why do we want to control everyone? Government free marriage is the only way to fix this issue. Time to change the argument. Why are we asking the government to control our lives? Why do we want the government to recognize anything? For or against should not be the argument, government free marriage NOW!
@sarah9miller , government-free marriage results in religious marriage, meaning that many people won't be able to be married, or will have to travel great distances to do so. No, government is the ONLY means to ensure that people who want to be married can be married, and will be able to find someone to marry them, in their own community.
