@Backripinferna There is one IMPORTANT thing you forgot to mention. The TGV is much less likely to go off the rail than the ICE thanks to its set of wheels which are between two cars. TGV is much more rigid and yet comfortable with the many hydraulic jacks on each sides of the wheel set.

The normal speed it's 330k/h - 205mph ut the record is 574.8k/h - 357.16mph. But at Quimper (north - west) to Nice (south - est) 7h. There are again some work but it's good :)
