Sakuya was not a bad character nor did she have control of her own situation, yes I did hate her at one time, but by the time the series is over you realize her life was nothing to begin with; it indeed was another persons life who was mean to break the Tenchi families bond, but she had not known this at all. She is a tragic character whom I am very sympathetic with which is weird that I even side with a character like this. Tenchi in Tokyo was the best Tenchi season.

I'm an old fan of Tenchi Muyo, and I admit that I was never a huge fan of Tenchi in Tyoko (Shin Tenchi, etc). There was just something that irked me about the series, but honestly the plot and characters were very well done. Especially Saykua and Ryoko (In my Opinion), while the others never seemed quite so well developed.

Anyway, I remember this song and that particular episode because it struck a cord. Looking back, I'm happy to have found this song so bravo and thank you.

Tenchi in Tokyo is one of the most underrated out of the Tenchi series, with Magical Project S (which proceeded TiT in Japan) being a close second.

Tenchi in Tokyo is my favourite Tenchi at the mo. It's one of the saddest and most touching, and it really shown some character interaction you didn't see in the other series.

Like, that episode where Kiyone and Mihoshi were keeping an ey on Ryoko. She said like "I miss how much those two made me laugh". But in Universe I don't think she mentions them once... well we don't get to see how she feels about them anyway.

But the only annoying thing about Tokyo was that Washu was hardly in it!

Tenchi in Tokyo was a very underrated series, and sakuya was a very underrated character. She was such a sweet yet ultimately tragic character.

It is quite hard to find I think, I'm not even sure what it's really called. It is indeed the last part of a long sequence of songs in one file, but it's easily my favourite part. I found it years ago while collecting Tenchi soundtrack albums, labelled as "Sad".
