Intel core duo 2 e8400 runs at 3ghz. So unless you have the water cooling needed to overclock it that much (which i guess you dont judging by your graphics card) then you dont need that much of a strong processor. so id go with around a 2.8ghz for no lag.

@shadowrockz07 I suggest compiling dolphin from svn. The builds arent updated frequently and Ive had problems with all the builds on windows and linux, but I compile from svn on both my windows and linux and everything works great.

I use Dolphin SVN Revision 3972 for 64 bit platforms, Dual Core enabled with the standard Dolphin OpenGL plugin. Even have the internal resolution at 1920x1200 = )

What build are you using? You shouldn't have to do any extra configuring to have pikmin2 work. Check Dolphins website to see if there is a newer revision, which there more than likely is they are updating it daily = )

Pikmin games arent compatable with Dolphin yet, only on rare cases have people had such perfect specs to be able to run this game. My game ran it at like 10% speed, and my computer is on the High Tier.

yeah... when i try to play this, it is in color when it shows the clip of you going down the tree to the field of pikmin spelling "pikmin 2". then once i actually get into the game everything is in black, but i can still move. its like my graphics card can almost play it right. it is also slowish.
