This still gives me goosebumps,it always will. Great days for Aberdeen,sadly never to be relived. I remember watching this as a kid and just bursting into floods of tears at the final whistle. Oh how i thought then that Aberdeen would dominate for years to come. A once proud club now just a shadow. I'd settle for 3rd place and a cheeky wee cup every other year.

I was in the Royal Navy at the time and the ship was visiting Malmo. We went to Gothenburg on the off-chance that we could get some tickets and watch the game. We were lucky and got in. This goal cost me £50 and 2 days leave. We were late getting back to the ship because of extra time and the R.N. took the money and leave from us for being absent without leave. I'm a Rangers fan and enjoyed every minute of that night. P.S. I was alive when the Celtic won the European cup.
