hate to burst your bubble but even good stock speedos can be off by as much as 5-8 mph. The only way to get a true top speed out of a worked scoot is a GPS reading. and with all the money you spent upgrading that engine you could have done what I did to my ruckus and swapped it for a GY6 150cc and it probably would have cost you less.......just sayin

In my opinion, a valid speed run has to be done on level ground. AND, it has to be done twice, with the top speed achieved in one direction, and then again in the opposite direction... and within just a few minutes of each other so that the wind doesn't change. Once the two speeds are established, the average of both is the valid number. Still, seeing a Ruckus doing better than 60 in your video was fun. Thanks for posting.

I own a cheap (but good looking) 150cc scooter that i put a lot of aftermarket stuff on. but this scooter kicks ass! I've ridden with 50cc scooterist, and the fastest they ever went was 45mph. beautiful bike! Im getting a cruiser soon, but will always salute the scooterist! at least the ones who know how to take care of their shit ;)

I have to wonder seeing this, are you running WOT when it hits 60? If you are in fact at full engine rpms, well it's still awesome because 50mph is below WOT, so therefore actually -useable-. WOT for the uninitiated means Wide Open Throttle.
