  • this is so funny. you could hardly understand what she is singing in Amharic :) but the outfit she is wearing is Ethiopian style and the jewellery she is wearing is Eritrean style lol. funny. i give her 8/10 for her attempt in singing Amharic song :)

  • @UniversalStar2000 Honey Eritrea used 2 be a part of Ethiopia and the out fit and jewelleries she's wearing are also woren by Ethiopians so the only thing is her accent .But she should get 10/10 4 trying.

  • @almazed Yes Eritrea use to be part of Ethiopia for 42 yrs of its history. as i understand (from 1951-1961 as self autonomous province under Ethiopia and from 1961-1993 as a province of Ethiopia. Before Ethiopians it was under the British for 10 years and before the British it was under Italians for 60 yrs and before Italians it has been under the Egyptians and Turks. Information Source Wikipedia.

  • @UniversalStar2000 Universal....the core of eritrea has never been under Egypt and Turk. It was part and parcel of the Ethiopian empire before the Italian colonization.

  • @UniversalStar2000 LOL don't trust wiki Eritrea was never a part of Egyptian or turk or even British. It was given to Italy by Ethiopia and then when the Italians left the British took over and then they didn't wanna be joined with Ethiopia.

  • @almazed I never said Eritrea was part of Egypt/Turkey/ Italy /Ethiopia! because they were all colonial powers that once ruled Eritrea in history. If you have doubts about the Egyptians&Turks from having ruled Eritrea then i would strongly advice you to research on the architectural styles of Massawa as it was entirely built by the Turks during the Ottoman Empire and it is footprint you can trace its past history. Denial of past history wouldn't change the present my dear.

  • @UniversalStar2000 lol r u trying to teach an Ethiopian Eritrean history. I've learned about it from the first grade. I suggest u do ur research on places other than wiki. Done

  • @UniversalStar2000 you dont get to rewrite history. ethiopian/eirtrean history isn't defined by events of the last100 years. it stretches back thousands of years all the way to the times of Axum. One and the same people. we are the same linguistically, religously, culturally ...... However horribly eritreans suffered under the central government of Ethiopia, history is an unsympathetic fact--it still remains true that we are one and the same people.
