Check out the oath keepers while you are at it. Don't be so sure the soldiers would be willing to assault civilians and confiscate weapons. That would be an illegal order they could refuse to obey without punishment. Oath keepers is working hard to inform all police and military as to their true duty. It is to the constitution NOT to their superiors.

If word got around that troops were confiscating, the public would have to show up in numbers great enough to impress the troops they are in the wrong. If a shooting war started word would get out and that would create a fire storm of publicity that would hopefully halt the confiscations. This is why it is so important to avoid registration. Hide them under the floor, bury in tight containers.

Its probably cheaper to buy a gun in a store, as when you by it online you have to pay shipping and transfer fees. That can get expensive depending on who you deal with. People don't fight back because we have been slowly conditioned to accept whatever the govt tells us to do. If a cop comes to my door and ask for my guns, property, and money I know there is little that I can do because if I were to challenge him I would be labeled a "bad-guy" for not copoerating and I damn well can't get a fair trial against a cop. I've tried to fight cops one time and I won but it was an uphill battle and I felt like I had to work twice as hard as the officer.
