ive been listening to all the songs on this album and i think this one just convinced me to buy the whole thing.iveseen nothing but good from this album and especially this song!i loove it
@demonica481 A man comes into a village. He hasn't eaten for days, and he's hoping to find some food in the village. However, at every door he goes to, people say that they barely have enough food for themselves, let alone a guest. Disappointed, he leaves, only to find a smooth stone on the road. Suddenly, he gets an idea.
Coming back to the village, he calls, "I need you help to make stone soup!" Curious, the other villagers come out to see what is truly going on.
@demonica481 When asked what he was doing, he replies, "I have a magic recipe for stone soup, that will feed this entire village and leave some for leftovers."
He asks for a large soup kettle filled with water to be placed over a fire. Placing the stone in the soup, he tastes it. "It's good," he said, "but it would be better with..."
So the villagers slowly bring what they have to put in the soup. First, it was some chicken, then onions, celery, carrots... salt and pepper...
@demonica481 By the time the village had placed all that they had in the stew, they were thoroughly enjoying themselves. Before this stranger came, theirs was a quiet village, where rarely did people talk to each other. Now, they were laughing and having a good time.
The stranger declared the soup finished, and dished it out to the villages. Indeed, the soup fed everyone that had gathered, and there were leftovers to spare for days.
As he left, the stranger gave the village the stone.
