Actually, I had a claim for surgery denied, and had to appeal. Also as I'm a Type 1 diabetic, I had to wait a year before my insurance covered anything related to it because it;s pre-existing condition. That is how insurance is run by the INS. INDUSTRY. The bill provides CONSUMER PROTECTIONS. Again, the CEO of Cigna made 12.2 million dollars last year, denying claims, raising premiums, discounting pre-existing conditions.
