I was so happy to actually go out and buy this game. But when i played it for about an hour or two i was so disappointed with the art direction in the pitches. They all look THE SAME, its like playing super mario brothers and all the levels look the same. The pitches are all bright green and look dreadful. I cant even enjoy the actual game because of this, pes 2010 was so much better. I cant wait to return it.

Ive played both. And i felt PES har improved more than FIFA this year, actually, much more. The dribbling in Fifa is still annoying me, too hard to dribble past people. You have to use tricks to get past almost everytime. In PES, there is more feeling behind the dribbling. Thats how it should be

last year pes10 and fifa10 was a close fight, although pes game play is better (considering that u've payed both for a long time you'd understand if u disagree it likely means you havnt played enough pes.) however fifa does have the better motions and graphics and the game moves much more smoothly, it is close even though i prefer pes, i believe fifa just edged it. BUT! i'll tell u this! now that i've played both pes11 and fifa11. im very happy to say pes11 has completely blown fifa to bits! :)

PES 2011 is much more rewarding than FIFA, Its satisfying even in the demo when you string complex passes together and create openings for goals. FIFA is for the average (skilled) gamer it not very hard to pick up or beat on world class. I will be getting both but I know when Black Ops comes out FIFA will be traded in.

My personal choice is fifa all the way

it has way better physics than pes (considering the introduction of 360 degree dribbling) plus the goalkeepers aren't so fucking dump diving like muppets.

Additionally in terms of fun it's way better since it rapes pes with all its skill moves, dribbling, rabonas and stuff.

But I have to give you that it is easier to score goals even if playing in legendary

I was really worried about pes. Unlike some though I thought 2010 was a big big step in the right direction. It was wel thought out with much better menus and much better game play. ( slowing the game down a bit made a bit difference to realism.

Also, in PES, if you play with a weak team against a big team, there IS a difference. Weak team build up their play slowly while big teams fix their positions quickly and surge forward. And seriously, stadium editor? Man, that's awesome. Master League ONLINE? Double awesomeness.

Both PES & FIFA improved their passing system. So we'll judge when both games come out.

I personally like both PES and FIFA. Both have their qualities.

So far, the only thing that intrigued (spelling) me to purchase FIFA is the new addition of the Be A Goalkeeper mode, since I play a goalkeeper myself irl. I've also heard from EA themselves, that "80% of FIFA11 is all about the new creation centre.". And as most of you people stated, 95% of FIFA11 is FIFA10.

Pes is the best because:

-The ball feels more as a loose object instead of an object that travelles a predestined path

-It is less scripted than fifa. So don't expect gimmicks as easy lobbing of the goalie or shooting against the referee 5 times in a match

-Every goal you score is different and thus feels more rewarding; you have to really work for a victory

-every match is different; Whereas in fifa you play six matches you have seen it all.

For fuck sakes man: fifa 11 is 95% fifa 10.

Been playing Pes since way way back used to love the game,but in all fairness fifa have been tweaking and messing around for years to find the rite balance of gameplay. They have had alot of horrible games in the process. It wasn't till 09 came that they really hit the nail on the head. Since pes 5 and 6 it went downhill from ther...08 was shocking and 09, pes 10 just started to get them back on the rite track but it still didn't bring the realism it yous to so fifa took over just for now.

The tactical side of Pes is quite brilliant as it combines pes with the footie manager games but the fifa menus are the same every year plus pes players are far more realistic as Pes is a game that improves every year. I love PES 5... Since then its been going downhill fast, PES2009 is the best version on the PS3 but even that has so many silly little problems!

Stop worrying about over complex gameplay because noone cares, just use the PES 5 arcade engine and you'll have a best seller game year on year with only updating graphics and ironing out small issues to make it perfect.

If I wanted to sit there for 10mins before each game setting up formations etc... I would have bought Champ Manager, NOT PES!!!!
