In the interest of harmony, I have deleted my other comments. No one took my comments at face value and twisted it to say that I said worship should not be a dance. And while most people were respectful with their comments against mine, not everyone was.

Since I am not one for arguments, I will just let everyone keep their own opinions on this subject.

@Badbrad44k with all respects, your whole comment is ungrounded in the bible. To say worship should not be a dance, you deny the very definition of worship. Halel which is the most commonly used hebrew word in the bible for Praise/Worship is a word that means; sing, shout, dance, jump, get wild. Worship and dances are the same.

@Badbrad44k I've recently come to the Lord a few months ago through a very powerful encounter with Him. I always danced jazz and love hiphop. For a while I thought hiphop and God just didn't mix so I gave it up. Then one day I started seeing hip hop dance moves in my head while thinking of choreography and God spoke to me very clearly and said that He made me the way I am for a reason and He made me to dance hip hop AND jazz. It says in the bible that everything we do, do as unto the Lord.

@Badbrad44k People have different ways of expressing themselves and if it's not sinful (as you know it's not) then He wants us to do it for Him. So if hip hop doesn't do anything for you when you're watching these dances, that's ok, He didn't make you a hiphop dancer. But He did make some people hiphop dancers. He's the one who gave us the desire to dance, sing, write, preach, whatever gifting He gave us. Whatever form we chose, as long as we're expressing our love for Jesus, it is holy

Look at some of the dances that our team has ministered, especially "You Are Worthy" & "Revelation Song". then come back and tell me why worship shouldn't be converted into a dance when it is just as powerful as any other form of worship.
