@Lexy391 No their families got new apartments in better localities from the producers. When the movie came to screen they (2 of them: youngest Jamal and youngest Latika ) were indeed slum dwellers. Also, later producers made a trust and Rs 25 Lakhs (~50000$) are deposited for their education.

I feel bad for you, clearly you haven't seen the movie Slumdog millionaire. In the movie this song is played when the 2 brothers start living on a train because they could steal enough things to support their life and style lol.
