  • @TheRealRedHeat How did you connect the netbook to the TNC? I tried an USB to Serial adapter and it didn't work. I have to use it with a real serial port, which of course the netbooks don't have.

  • @fvillafa the TNC is connected to the blue Alienware laptop in the background, near the floor. It runs Ubuntu and using Minicom. The netbook wasn't directly connected at all, instead I was connected over wireless networking to the Alienware via an ssh session terminal running minicom remotely. That said, I have used a USB to serial converter before for serial Cisco routers without a problem, so perhaps you have a driver/settings issue with yours. Best of luck!
