Buy an r8 with the v8 and bolt a supercharger to it same performance as the v10 an alot cheaper (provided you have the right one) but then you do void your warranty
I have owned audi's, S class mercedes, porsches (2 and 4 wheel drive), bmw motorsports. Audi was the best build quality (VW owners may comment here). And a REALLY god car. . But these audi r's are lost. You do not buy these cars for build quality. You have to have a cold heart to buy an audi R.
The front looks really nice with its tight lines and trade mark Audi lights. But the back looks like its being mounted by a panda. It sits very awkward.

nice job on this review..the 8 would be enough but you're right this V10 sounds very decent..the Quattro is where it's at plus it's so much more driveable than some of the exotics..more tame, more of a street car than other comparable cars..this is the best of both worlds..capable of beast-like performance that is lamb-like in the city
Not that I could afford either of them, but another reviewer made the point that if you spec'ed the V8 with with the same options that are standard on the V10 then the price difference would only be ten grand, which makes the V10 not such bad value after all. Oh well, dreams are free.
