There is no "right" way to play. Bar usage is a personal preference, and the only people who think otherwise are the ones who suck too much at these games to know the difference. And for your information, Matt actually plays with the bar these days.

very awesome. I oughta try this... I might not even pass, though. Do you kinda lean forward during the last run?  Having a lower center of gravity helps a lot, I think.

In my experience leaning forward has two main benefits: increased FA and increased foot speed, but it comes at a cost. The farther forward you lean the more energy you use while playing. So if stamina is an issue for you on something try to stay straighter.

that's interesting. when I lean forward, it enables me to move faster, true, but it doesn't eat up too much stamina. I tend to use my thigh muscles more when I do this. When I play straighter, it tends to eat away at my calves/shins. I dunno. as I play more and more no bar I'll tell you my findings.
