Nurburgring has always had graffiti on it, ever since it was built in the 60s. Some german hippies jumped the fence and painted it. No one bothered to erase the first graffiti so others came and painted more, and so on. Now there is almost 1 mile of graffiti that no one bothered to erase. But the clandestine graffiti artists have mysteriously stopped coming after they installed electric fences >:). Now u have to be a commando to get in to make a graffiti.

@reinisze123 Faster than F1, the batteries(or battery cell) is under the car, its a simple job to raise the car drop 6 clips, remove old cell, put new cell in. An experienced pit crew should be able to do this in about the same time as your average NASCAR "gas'n'go" while also producing a full capacity "fuel tank"

@mikldude Volts can't kill you, it current or Amps that do. You don't need many amps to die, but I'd be more scared of dying in a fire due to gasoline/petrol than dying from electric shock. In other words, it's very unlikely that you would get shocked to death; you would need exposed wires and you would have to become part of the circuit. I think the power would go in the event of a crash, so I don't think there's much to worry about.

My only problems with electric cars is that they are not green even is they say it is greener and the recharge time and what will happen if a bank of batteries goes down during a race. The electric car is not ready for the world yet it is a good way to start it .

If a Battery pack fails during a race it's exactly the same as blowing a motor on a combustion race... your out for the round?
