I honestly can't wait for this. I've been listening to your version for the last 9 months and I am still interested to know how you play it all, including notes, phrasing etc...
Not sure if you will get it all. I made it up and don't always play it the same. Now that I look at the video, I'm not sure I even know how to do that.
Thanks for the reply - I just want to see how you mesh the basic 1, 4, 5 chords together with your blues. It's great the way you do it, and I don't need to see note for note at all. I think I've got the first part - I'll post a reply perhaps one day...
Thanks for the comment on my Red House. This was a great night for recording because "no one" showed up. Comments like yours make this all worth while. Thanks,
haha really?! why is that? weeknight? i thought it was ace! If i was there i prob would have had one too many Guinnesses and would have been trying to sing along. which im sure performers love.
Yeah man what's up with the viewers of Youtube? This is a very good version. I've had a look at the tab for this and I think my brain started melting a bit lol.
How come this has only a couple of comments? It's got to be one of the best acoustic versions of Red House on the whole of youtube. I can learn a whole year's worth of guitar from just this one video, and I've watched it hundreds of times.
Hi Malcolm, any chance of posting this again but with the camera pointing at your fretboard - that way we can get to see what you're playing as well as listening to the great sounds!
Wow, absolutely amazing.
