I prefer Spectacular for the more fluid action scenes and smarter writing, but this classic series will always have a place in my heart. I grew up on this! And X men...and Batman....and Reboot...the 90s were a golden time.

Well I do admit the story is a bit better in the specatacular than the 90's. Still 90's is a classic and one of the best spiderman series. And true the 90's was a golden time because remember watching Batman which was brilliant. But it doesn't matter whether we perfer 90's or spectcular because I have loved spiderman Because he shows intellegence and humor in this show, I have always spiderman saying with great powers there comes great responsibilities.

As someone who grew up watching the 90's spider-man I'll agree that the spectacular spider-man is pretty melodramatic. Still, I feel that the plot itself makes more sense, a lot of the villains in the 90's spider-man just pop-up from nowhere.

I also feel that the goblin storyline was a little screwed up

the plot is a bit more intertwined, minor villains have a story of their own rather then just appearing out of nowhere and the overall story is closer to the comic book (and that includes Gwen Stacy being peter parker's love interest rather then Mary jane).
