@bowanda922 I'm planning on returning as soon as I get my degree. I've been planning on getting TEFL certification and teaching English in Spain... My trip to Barcelona set it in stone, in my mind. I had more fun in Madrid, but it was merely circumstantial. Barcelona was so much nicer.
@Marcownz747 I never went to Madrid, but barcelona is beautiful. Visit my town Manresa if possible and visit Monserrat mountians. :) and Andorra has some cool shopping areas. ;) I am returning in 2012 also for summer, going back to Manresa, SP to visit friends and host family and have fun and party!! I hope u enjoy working as an english teacher, that was always my second choice for a career.
@bowanda922 That sounds wonderful. I actually very much dislike teaching, but as you probably well know, unemployment is quite high in Spain... but English teaching is still a relatively stable job. I'll do anything to get my hands on a work visa or residency card, and that's my easiest path. I may be in Spain over this summer, also. Depending on how much I have saved, I might be staying the entire summer.
In Barcelona, I take it? I was just there a month or so ago. I'm really hoping to get back forever soon.
