So basically Zaha choose to stand down, knowing he could achieve his goal at any time. Carrot and the others are basically shown to be powerless against him and only came back to life per say, due to their connections to Carrot.
I would love to see a similar storyline done now. Since it's rare to find the ones where the antagonist is never beaten and is basically shown to have forfeited the fight for legit reasons.
though darkness has been vanquished but there will never be the end to them as long as humans' hearts contain them. However, there will also exist hope as long as people have fate in love and the light will once again shine onward from darkness. At least, that's what i believe is the theme of the ending.
It'd be boring to have carrot slay zaha with one blow... the ending's just right for me.... plus factor coz of chocolate and tira... <3 love those girls...
I like this anime storyline a lot but they didn't kill zaha but I think he end up dying somewhere since carrot stab in him before.. Well, all I know it this one hell of a awesome anime! :D

carrot doesnt even finish zahad with an epic blow nor is there a scene when everythings over :(
