Nigel Lythgoe on Adam Shankman who joins 'So You Think You Can Dance' as a permanent judge

Although, i like Adam Shankman, i don't think he should be a permanent judge on the show. How did this happen and why? What about the choreographers who were guest judges? I guess they don't count anymore. This is the first thing i have disagreed with about my favorite show. And what this about holding a seat for Paula Abdul? Come one now!

Although I like Adam Shankman, I don't like it that he's going to be permanent judge on this show. What about the other choreographers? Don't they get to sit as judges anymore. And they seem to be holding a chair reserved for Paula Abdul. It's a mark against the show for the first time for me.

I dont feel like this is such a good step! changing the thrid judge is a good thing i think as you get diff insite in to the dancer if you ahve the same ppl the whole time they might miss things or only corect in one area were as if you have diff ones they can corect in many diff areas well we will have to what and see what happens but i love when meya micheals is a judge so going to miss her being the third judge!
