Small survival kits are a great interest of mine so I use mine and change items in it quite often, that way im sure mine atleast will never get too old to use. Great video!

Great video!! I must admit I was guilty of this too, I had a survival kit that was 10yrs old. I have since come to my senses on this issue. Great Kit, I really like the wire saws, but in peoples opinoins of them can be rubbish or brilliant, personnaly i guess i have always been lucky and they have always held up well, and then another person may have one and it breaks straight away.

Still worth having in a kit though.

I agree with you Mike a wire saw is worth having. In case you get lost and need to get some wood cut fast. Latter on I will do a short video showing how I fix ring saw's.
