Ventoso delivers Petacchi like a teammate. At the perfect moment, he jumps out of Ventoso's wheel. Within a few seconds he is right beside Ventoso.. The last ten/fifteen meters of the stage seem more flat and less heavy. While having more speed, he just had to continue pedaling and make a final (sprinters-) jump to the finish- line to win the stage.
It stinks? or an injury? Cycling rules!
