OU was good. Landry had a big day against one of the worst pass defenses in the Pac-10. But he played well.

Once Stanford couldnt throw with accuracy (and T Pritchard can't) it was tipped in OU's favor.

Luck is that good and opens things up. Toby G got 135 without him. You wouldnt have enjoyed the day much with him in the lineup.

Good win. Go Sooners. Beat UT next year.

I'm just fuckin glad they showed they can win a bowl game. I'm tired of losing at the end of the season. Maybe this will give landry a lil more confidence, I can't wait for next season to start already. Good job OU!!!!

huh..they didn't show the play the refs screwed up. they called chop block on Stanford, but when you watch it, it was really on Oklahoma. It came on a touchdown play, but since they said the foul was on us, no touchdown. The game should have been tied at the end.

No it shouldn't have been tied bc the refs gave stanford 3 points off that botched punt play saying the tackler got pushed into broyles which in the replay you see him clearly wrap broyles up way before the punt even got to him. That gave Stanford 3 points then when OU was driving called a pass that broyles caught on the sideline incomplete when you could see his toe hit inbounds.

The Sun Bowl is a fun game every year. For some reason the teams play very inspired football. I guess it's because so many folks want to visit Texas and to play there.

Nice to see Gerhart put 135 yards on the 8th best defense in the land, stacking the line since there was little pass threat.

Little chance if you were a Stanford fan once Luck was a no go.

Tavita P threw one of the biggest passes ever to beat SC (OU, Stanford and all fans could enjoy) but usually can't throw a pea in the ocean with his heels in the sand & toes in the surf..

Can't quite agree with you there. Yes, not having Luck in at QB was a tough break--but as long as you've got Toby G, you've got a chance. Several times this year Stanford was in high-scoring shootouts, and Gerhart would just put the team on his back and keep on running over people and scoring.

Good battle. I'm a Stanford fan, and I was hoping Gerhart and the Cardinal could pull it out, but OU beat us fair and square. Can't expect to win if Jones and Broyles are carving you up all day like that. Congrats to the Sooners. Hopefully Harbaugh and the Cardinal can keep it going in 2010, this time with a little more D.
