You can't activate a trap card the same turn you play it. Lightforce sword must've been a magic card in the original.

There's two ways the game can be played, TRADITIONAL... and ADVANCED.

In the Traditional way, you can play cetrain Traps like spells.

In adv you have to set them... you also can't normal summon monsters in face-up Def

Rare hunters has their own manufacture to produce counterfeit cards. I am not sure about the manufacture, but the cards are counterfeit.

playing a trap card from your hand is against the rules, so it is cheating. You have to set trap cards face-down before you activate them and you can activate them on your opponent's turn. Check the rulebook.

Yugi didn't play Light Force Sword on the same turn, he played it during his End Phase, which is a completely legal move in tournament play. It doesn't matter what happens in the show anyways, the rules don't apply to basic cable.

I think it's supposed to show that because the Rare Hunter has got so many Exodia pieces, the odds of him drawing the right ones are low. So, he'll probably get an arm instead of a leg.
