Why cant the ai on this game mannage to finish an enemy base. they allways just park and do nothing. So while your destroying the other base suddenly a horde of enemy appear and try rebuilding. What shit. once your base building is gone that should be it.
why is hitler complaining? The axis army on CoH is ten times better than the brits and americans put together. Anyone who doesn't agree is a retard. You cannot beat an opponent who can upgrade what they want, how they want. And have them produce those vet 3 units right out the factory. It's an excellent game, but the ballence of the armies is absolute bullshit. As for the brits... they can secure a maximum of 3 points.... cos thats fair. not.
@NDavis37F yep, the brits are only good at holding ground, but thats only because of slit trenches...and guess what anyone can enter a nuetral slit trench! British infantry are good but not for their cost... More then a tank for 1 section of infantry! I think they should have a 'mad minuite' ability with the riffles. They are making a CoH 2 though : )

@skedtm You can buy vet 3 but it costs a ton of resources and its not usually viable unless you're going to win anyway. Allied arty base rape can just destroy the Axis buildings before they can produce anything, and then you have the Brit sim-city. Just build a couple mg's, mortar and AT emplacements and Axis can't break through.

@Rave2397 C&C Generals + Zero hour expansion are VERY GOOD.. and allow for good tactics if you use the abilities and commands properly.. the expansion is awesome challenge, very fun game to play..
C&C 3 was GOOD too and was worth the money specially with the xpansions..

COH is probably the best... but cc3 full campaign with aliens is a lot of fun..
I don't play much multiplayer, and if I do, it's as allies against the computer, so I can pass a really thorough judgement on player vs player balance, but when you're fighting an Axis computer player, the balance is sooooooo in their favour, it's untrue!
Well Yesterday I played as americans on skirmish and there were two INJURED knights cross holders (Soldiers not squads) at the first veterancy level flanking one of my AT guns, so I sent in a fresh squad of rangers to their position and guess who won?? Yea, the rangers didn't even stand a chance. Didn't even kill one. Knights cross holders will basically crush any allied infantry. hands down. (and first veterancy level for all whermacht infantry only grants health regen, no combat bonuses.)

If you play as Wehr and against American players and they have most of the control points your screw'd, all they have to do is spam Riflemen, Rangers or Airborne Troops. You might repel them but they'll be back very soon with another spam.

I have been played this in 07 enjoyed got distracted then picked it up again now. from wat I have experienced: Germans can kick ass via late game. maybe I ahd bad teammates. but in a 3s match i went airborne and i ahd 2 brit teammates. we pushed em back to a couple of points. but once a panther or 2 along with some knights crosses rolled out. we just got decimated. well the british did at least. I held out hardcore on a well defended control point before i got surrounded.
the problem is that Allies are simply fundementally about adaptivity, and Germans are about specilization. this kills the game, the Allies adapt, the Germans need to dominate throughout.
@oblivionps3fan u think thats good? i had one last pershing up in a corner with a damaged engine and 10% heath left, i held off and destroyed 7 stugs 2 panthers and 4 tigers. And it survived even after the game was over, unfortunately, i lost.

@geekymgee yes, but they need to fix the US infantry, one fucking squad of Volks can kill 2 rifleman squads! They cost 40 more MP. And even their freaking pioneers can take out a squad of rifleman ffs. But the mod is the best mof for CoH :P
@bengacris the stats of the infantry and vehicles in blitzkrieg are supossed to be historicaly correct. and it is true that german soldier had recieved better training, so it's easy to believe it's possible for a group of pioneers to be able to take down almost any squad

CoH is getting 2.602 patch tomorrow (5/24)... Just balance changes. Roos are getting nerfed!! Cost is being raised to 300 MP and 45 fuel, build time increased by 10 seconds, and HP being lowered by 100.
But Wehrmacht Panzershrecks do 66% more damage bazookas, and they penetrate tank armor much more often. In fact they're the strongest Infantry-AT in the game, so the accuracy is reasonable.
@ExcalibursinX they should do more damage since they cost 75 per weapon and rangers spawn with bazooka. if you are loosing tanks to schreck-grens then you are simply doing something horribly wrong. upgunned rangers kill nearly everything in close combat, grens with schrecks cannot kill anything except youre stupid and drive your tank right into them.
@desetnik15second any advice on how to do that, becuase i cant win. I just cant. I always play as Germans and i always fucking loose even if my teammates are good players ( witch they arent)
@pzmaus if you are just camper you won't win, you always need to capture points and rush, build the secure posts on sector points closer to you which you can defend, the front line secure posts should be captured only. Start building the Wehrmacht Quarters with first pioneer, while on headquarters you should immediatly start building another engineer and the kriegs barracks ( If you are playing on High Resources ). I can't write too much here but you should always use your engineers and rush.
not they need to fixe the tiger and king tiger cause you cant even kill two shermans with it before the thing is crippled and dying where as when it first came out the tiger was a ctually a tank killer but now its only good for squishing tank traps and killing mgs and mortars casue you only need two shermans to wipe out pretty much anything the germans have
@ninjaFAUST If you just have a PAK-gun behind your tanks, they will wipe out every tank the allies got. Pak are the best there are vs allied tanks. It is always killing my shermans and pershings.
The bloody yanks and their damn Armour command!!! Tigers and panthers are good at taking out Shermans, but when they get a bunch of 57mm AT guns and calliopes behind them they're screwed. But what annoys me the most is the PANZER ELITE ONLY HAVE 2 TYPES OF ACTUAL TANKS. Hotchkiss and Panther!
these games dont show the production difference between America and the rest of the world at this period in time. that would make all the games unbalanced to Americas favor.
@cifeso i find it so and so too... Its easy to get an ostwind early for axis and allies need inf to counter that. However in a classic match, its a different story because to get ostwind that early, your enemy gotta be as stupid as an ai.
If any allied players are watching this. What it is saying is completely true, if allies cant counter something germany is nerfed, if germany cant counter something....tough. And relic has stopped actually balancing the game, they are now just making the units equal. Equal is not balanced, when units are equal it makes for a really boring game.
@Molybdan42 Panzershrek in real life.... = the power of the 88 mm gun. The panzerfaust in real life could penetrate up to 200mm of armor. There was never any recorded kill of any tank heavier than the panther with a bazooka or recoilless rifle. They were in reality slingshots with grenades.

What I love about this is that it actually makes sense, on some sort of weird meta level. Like the whole of WW2 was a game of CoH; the Germans were actually buying Walking Stukas from a fuel ticker that gradually went up (depending on what fuel points were held) and then half way through the war Relic came and changed the balance.... maybe that accounts for the Allied victory?!
COH only problem is the accuracy of the shots for eg i had a grenadier squad 2 cm away from American airborne troops and it took over 5 seconds to even kill one man!!

(REALLY balances out the game makeing the axis expensive, but kickass and the allies cheap and ineffective unless in swarms. which is what people continue to do in the game anyways)

@geekymgee yes, but they need to fix the US infantry, one fucking squad of Volks can kill 2 rifleman squads! They cost 40 more MP. And even their freaking pioneers can take out a squad of rifleman ffs. But the mod is the best mof for CoH :P

@bengacris the stats of the infantry and vehicles in blitzkrieg are supossed to be historicaly correct. and it is true that german soldier had recieved better training, so it's easy to believe it's possible for a group of pioneers to be able to take down almost any squad

CoH is getting 2.602 patch tomorrow (5/24)... Just balance changes. Roos are getting nerfed!! Cost is being raised to 300 MP and 45 fuel, build time increased by 10 seconds, and HP being lowered by 100.

But Wehrmacht Panzershrecks do 66% more damage bazookas, and they penetrate tank armor much more often. In fact they're the strongest Infantry-AT in the game, so the accuracy is reasonable.

@ExcalibursinX they should do more damage since they cost 75 per weapon and rangers spawn with bazooka. if you are loosing tanks to schreck-grens then you are simply doing something horribly wrong. upgunned rangers kill nearly everything in close combat, grens with schrecks cannot kill anything except youre stupid and drive your tank right into them.

@pzmaus if you are just camper you won't win, you always need to capture points and rush, build the secure posts on sector points closer to you which you can defend, the front line secure posts should be captured only. Start building the Wehrmacht Quarters with first pioneer, while on headquarters you should immediatly start building another engineer and the kriegs barracks ( If you are playing on High Resources ). I can't write too much here but you should always use your engineers and rush.

not they need to fixe the tiger and king tiger cause you cant even kill two shermans with it before the thing is crippled and dying where as when it first came out the tiger was a ctually a tank killer but now its only good for squishing tank traps and killing mgs and mortars casue you only need two shermans to wipe out pretty much anything the germans have

@ninjaFAUST If you just have a PAK-gun behind your tanks, they will wipe out every tank the allies got. Pak are the best there are vs allied tanks. It is always killing my shermans and pershings.

The bloody yanks and their damn Armour command!!! Tigers and panthers are good at taking out Shermans, but when they get a bunch of 57mm AT guns and calliopes behind them they're screwed. But what annoys me the most is the PANZER ELITE ONLY HAVE 2 TYPES OF ACTUAL TANKS. Hotchkiss and Panther!

@cifeso i find it so and so too... Its easy to get an ostwind early for axis and allies need inf to counter that. However in a classic match, its a different story because to get ostwind that early, your enemy gotta be as stupid as an ai.

If any allied players are watching this. What it is saying is completely true, if allies cant counter something germany is nerfed, if germany cant counter something....tough. And relic has stopped actually balancing the game, they are now just making the units equal. Equal is not balanced, when units are equal it makes for a really boring game.

@Molybdan42 Panzershrek in real life.... = the power of the 88 mm gun. The panzerfaust in real life could penetrate up to 200mm of armor. There was never any recorded kill of any tank heavier than the panther with a bazooka or recoilless rifle. They were in reality slingshots with grenades.

The strongest panzerfaust could penetrate 220 mm of armor.

What I love about this is that it actually makes sense, on some sort of weird meta level. Like the whole of WW2 was a game of CoH; the Germans were actually buying Walking Stukas from a fuel ticker that gradually went up (depending on what fuel points were held) and then half way through the war Relic came and changed the balance.... maybe that accounts for the Allied victory?!
