The message that the song is sending is definitely something I agree with, but honestly I have to say this song is terrible. The video is even worse. It's so bad that I'm THIS close to never listening to symphonic metal again. It's just pathetic. 1,404 likes, 124 dislikes... It just goes to show you that music doesn't matter to the masses. I see lots of comments saying that this song is boring. C'mon guys, I'm not a huge fan of Epica, but I am pretty sure this a complete step out of the ordinary for them, and they succeeded in making a beautiful melodic acoustic song. I love pounding double bass and guitars as much as the next metalhead, but slow beautiful music like this can take you to another world too. Opeth's Blackwater Park album in my opinion is a prime example of the best of both worlds.

Actually, I think it's oil. Epica have always been a message driven band and I keep that in mind while waitching this. Not thrilled with music, or the images choosen, but I keep it in mind that Epica have ALWAYS had something to say. So, kewl. It's better to err on the side of "I Love Nature" than "F it all". Tis in keeping with their style.. still. a bit bland. It's like someone REALLY like the chorus and built a song around it to justify putting to recording. Still not horrid, just not great.
