Quick question.. I was wondering what the difference is as between oil-immersed dark-field and dry dark-field microscopy ? Is there a major difference in quality between the two? what they may be if so ? and where I may find images providing an evaluative example of both ? Thank you very much..
What is the point of using the dark field micrscopy? If I wanted to look at a bacteria in the blood sample, why would I bother using the dark field? A dark field may give an unrelistic view, you lose all the natural colouring, shading, its just balck and white? What is the function? What if I want to see uric acid crystals is it possible in bright light?
