@killer2222ify Depends on the graphics card. I have the same processor as you but no one can answer you without a graphics card. But I'm guessing you could run it at Low-Medium at 15-25 fps. Which is okay if you are not a serious gamer.
@noelschneider i just did it.... even max Anti-Aliasing... And this is a laptop... Didn't even exceed 70 degrees Celsius, and 100 Celsius is the max safe operating.... This comp is a BEAST!! It'll even do Assassin's Creed games with ease now O.O for 850 USD... this is a good buy.....
@Chrismontgomery2012 the first crysis just runs like shit even on a super good comp the coding for that game is shit. i would test how good a comp is by trying to play something like crysis2 with dx11 on or even bfbc2 all maxed out. that might be a better idea. Constant 60 fps with maximum settings on 1920 x 1080 on gtx 560 ti with only 1GB of video ram...and still it sometimes drops for loading...but I guess that's inevitable...still ... Excellent game and I recommend it even if you don't have a top notch card, Oblivion still looks great even on a 6800 with medium grafix

@kittycatcarley My graphics card cost me 200 when it was BRAND NEW on the market, ATI Radeon HD 5770, now it's one hundred something, also you need to check out your processor, whenever you install a new motherboard you have to reformat your computers operating system, which means you don't have ANYTHING left on the hard drive, so just be careful about what you replace and how, this game isn't very demanding at all with much of anything, quad core 3GHz CPU for like 100$
The cheapest ones that give the best bang for the buck are probably the ATI cards. The 5870 doesn't cost a fortune but is also a complete powerhouse. It's only 229 for an XFX on newegg and should be good for about 3 years.
Typically though I'd personally spend 50 bucks more and get the Sapphire model. But also make sure you have a power supply adequate enough for it. Building a computer is the way to go to get the best performance to cost.

@tm7111 just look up something called oldblivion. it just takes the shaders and vertex shaders down and your game will run fine. Ive seen a video of someone running a geforce 3 with oldblivion and it worked just fine.

Also, my Xbox 360 got the Blue Screen of Death (it was my third one, the other two got the red ring of death), and as it was no longer under warranty, I sold it to my weed man for an ounce.
AWESOME. That is almost exactly identical to how it looked when I recently re-installed + "super-modded" it too. :) I only wish I could have replayed it on my latest monitor, the Asus MT276HE... which would have been stunningly stunning, heheh!!

I'm running on a new system, runs crysis fine. Oblivion is my FAVORITE game, and I love the mods, but for some reason my PC has some issue with oblivion! You know how as you move through oblivion, the land seems to "Pop" into high definiation? well thats going on far too close, and walking around I can see 50 feet ahead of the road is all blurry and fake trees everywhere.... It MIGHT have something to do with a mod but uninstalling does nothing :( help?

@tm7111 look up 'best graphics cards for the money tom's hardware' on google. pretty much you wanna start at something 150 and up. i'd go for the gtx 460 ssc 1GB on newegg for 200 if u want best bang for buck. you'll be able to max out most games at 1680x1050 resolution or below. any higher and you might have to scale a few details back, but not too much

Also, my Xbox 360 got the Blue Screen of Death (it was my third one, the other two got the red ring of death), and as it was no longer under warranty, I sold it to my weed man for an ounce.

AWESOME. That is almost exactly identical to how it looked when I recently re-installed + "super-modded" it too. :) I only wish I could have replayed it on my latest monitor, the Asus MT276HE... which would have been stunningly stunning, heheh!!

if so i have the same problem to fix it i have to uninstall gamerosd and smart doctor but i wouldnt be able to control my gpu!!!!

@ACHEESEDANISH00 Its a mod I have pretty big monitor and vanilla oblivions map is still small infact all the menus are extremely small at high resolution at low resolution their really big :P

guys can you help me?
I'm running on a new system, runs crysis fine. Oblivion is my FAVORITE game, and I love the mods, but for some reason my PC has some issue with oblivion! You know how as you move through oblivion, the land seems to "Pop" into high definiation? well thats going on far too close, and walking around I can see 50 feet ahead of the road is all blurry and fake trees everywhere.... It MIGHT have something to do with a mod but uninstalling does nothing :( help?
