@Guiiiac Yes they are. But if you keep on top of it you'll be fine. They are awesome dogs. You can find them with not so many folds sometimes. Still gorgeous but a little easier to care for.
I would never buy a mastino with so much loose skin: allergies + infections in the folds. The mastino is not a great walker anyway. Can you see the injuries at the ellbows - from hard floor, no matresses, no physical care. This is not a dog for a kennel, too sensitive + very expensive in maintenance!
@fastfiero3 the neapolitan mastiff i have was first sold as a puppy at 2,500. but i am the third owner so we got him for a good deal at 700. one of the biggest problems i would think with there health is cherry eye. mine had to have surgery for it when he was a puppy. and then theres the "big" dog health problems like bad hips, bloat, and heart problems. i know mine can walk a far distance and be fine, but he's also only a year old so he still has lots of energy.
they r all ugly...except the one at 2:51

@Freyasuse Are they really prone to skin issues? I owned an Engish mastiff in the past and thought this breed looked interesting.

I was wondering if most neos have lots of loose skin?? is that normal?
or does it happen when you pull the collar forward so most of the skin from the body goes to face?
how come Ive seen few other neo with not so much wrinkled skin as these?
I love em all
