what a silly comment by cmrrr,this is most prob the most tasteful modded golf ive seen.if i walked down the street and saw this parked next to a lambo obviously the lambo would get the stares but this would get just as many id bet,supras,skylines with massive wings and stickers yeah they are classy NOT!i bet he is from essex.all the gear but no idea is a phrase that springs to mind.why try and make a car fast and then slow it down by creating so much drag,its not like it would take off without 1

I would have my mk1 any day over a shyline. For me its not about speed. I just love the old school feel of it and the character it has. There nothing like going for a cruise with your mates in your VW's to shows.

I'm still working on the MK1 scirocco I bought when I was 21 (1998). Now its got a nice motor, Audi paint, wheels, rims, customs exhuast, but it needs a fuse box. I keep writing the checks, but it never runs or seems done.

i can understand the work gone into this...but on a golf? why? i rebuild supras,skylines etc.make your effort worth while mate and do something fast and furious if you know what im saying,fuk vw`s they aint no class....

depends what your into, vw's have class, because they dont run on rice.

you cant drive a skyline around everyday for what its good at, you will just crash and die, with a slammed golf, you can drive normally and it will be awesome doing what its best at, just cruising along, low and slow, but this will be quick because of what he done to the engine.

thanks for leaving some feedback. I personally dont like the Fast and Furious style at all. It's more about stickers, plastic bumpers and rear wings. This F&F style gets repeated across lower-end market every day cars (e.g. ford KA's with huge rear wings) and it makes a joke of the style unfortunately. The thing with mk1 golf's, and most VW's is the the original shape and style is so strong that dubbers go for original (OEM+) styling. This just wouldn't work on most other cars.
