  • I've never understood why some tribute bands try to sound like they are English when singing ... the Beatles had no noticeable accent when singing ...

  • Long live the fab 4. You guys rock and continue to lift our spirits as the Beatles did!

  • Ive seen rain before , but the guys that were there werent these guys , they wer waaay better. The paul in this video doesnt even sound like the real Paul .or move like him either.

  • @jayven009 You re deaf. These guys are spot on. I ve seen them and they are as good as it gets.

  • More than one person 'plays' Paul. Thus the reason we see 'Paul' playing both right and left handed.

  • They're coming up here to Bradford Pa.

  • I just recently saw Rain and the Paul at this show played both left and right handed.

Left handed when playing bass, right handed when playing acoustic.

  • @MargaretTD I saw them and "Paul" played left handed the entire time like the real Paul Mccartney.

  • A beatles song I love. Isn't Paul supposed to be left handed?

  • @71579musiclover Yea, but he wasn't born left-handed

  • actually, the "paul" normally plays right-handed, but some of the live cams shown at the concerts show him playing leftie. the image is flipped before it hits the screen.

  • Used to see these guys all the time... An, the Golden Bear... I think it was in Huntington Beach... that was the coolest place! Geez, YEARS AGO!

  • didnt mean to thumbs down, this band rocks

  • It is nice when the "PAUL" plays leftie like "1964 The Tribute".

  • @ladbrady Why doesn't he always?

  • @ladbrady I went to see rain over the summer, and "Paul" Played left handed

  • Hey these guys dont claim to be The Beatles ..its just fun..lighten up...

  • sounds good : ]

  • Fabulous - it is such a joy to hear this music recreated with such quality! There is no question that this band produces premium results. Thank you for pleasure I enjoy listening to your work.

  • There aren't many SCOUSE (from Liverpool) Beatle tribute bands are there... I really get tired of hearing this strained Ameri-scouse accent, most bands do.

  • @brotherofgurnip Dude, can u just accept that there are only Beatles fans in Liverpool? Every cover band is going to strain it, 'cuz no one sounds exactly like them. These guys are the most experienced and talented Beatles cover band around- accept it, or listen to the real thing and stop complaining. It's even better that bands outside of England do this- it's great to see people of different races, countries, and backgrounds come together to embrace the Beatles' great music.

  • @hiphopsucks96 Don't get into a 'tantrum' with me lad... seriously, it was 4 weeks ago, and looking at your username, I gather that you were born in 1996... if that's the case, I'd rather not have a row with a kid. P.S. I do listen to the real thing, and to be quite honest: the real thing is MUCH, MUCH better than any tribute band because... well... they ARE the Beatles. Do me a favour: and don't respond, thanks.

  • @brotherofgurnip haha if u knew me u'd know that I ALWAYS have the last word. so look who just got ignored!

  • @hiphopsucks96 lulwut?

  • u suck shit paul is left u fuckers if u dont play on left then ur no rain the beatles shitass experience with a fake tv and no fans there fake at the end u suck shittt

  • @chrisbarron214 Your mind is quite special Chris.

  • @hunter48c ....LOL..Chris sounds jealous. He's just a "Jealous Guy".

  • funny.

  • Tour hardened.. tight as.....brilliant singing & harmonies.... no foldbacks either

    *GOTTA LOVE THE BEATLES*

  • I'll get chew in the end.

    My PRETTY!

    hee hee hee hee hee

and my cute little fat dog, Abby-gail-fat-face will get you, too!

    heheheheehhehe

(Wait! Does this mean Dorothy went dark? :>)

  • nice try... very close but... sucks. The End. oh yea

  • a idea like this i thank god that this is made by the right people who do it not for money, just because the are amazed by the beatles

    great !

i think they know really good what they do

  • I saw Rain a week and a half ago. They were so great. The only thing was, it wasn't long enough!!! They played for 2 and 1/2 hours, and it seemed like minutes...

  • excelent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @josicoyote is that right?

  • Good, but not quite dead on. I have this 45' and have loved this song as much as "She Loves You" from the time I was 4 years old. I'm considering going to see this next month, as to why I'm checking out these youTubes. For 2 top notch tickets I'm looking at over $100.00.

  • the best thing to do when going to a beatles tribute concert is to sit in the back, way back, trust me.

  • @JPGR66 why is that? any other tips?

  • i saw them, payed for like really far away seats and ended up sittin on the 2nd row. i really liked it. it really is an experience. you just have to understand it's a cover band, there's not much they can do other than TRY.

  • I've seen one in Cincinnati called eight days a week. They were very good. Don't remember them doing this song though.

  • oh no paul is right hand!!! it sucks.

  • I saw them last night, Paul is lefty now! Though this John sounds like Mark Benson of 1964

  • Rain has two casts. This is Joey Curatolo who plays righty. They Paul you saw must have been Graham Alexander. And yes, Steve Landes and Mark Benson do sound very much alike - definitely two of the best in the industry.

  • nice , but at 1:31 sounds like one of the forgot the lyrics

  • It's not a mistake. In the "C" part of the song, the real john recorded "i'm gonna MAKE...", when the other two real beatles sing "i'm gonna CHANGE your mind" . So, Rain tribute the real thing.

  • huh! didn't know that, thanks.

  • ive seen these guys twice, there great, sound exactly the same, better than any other beatles cover band ive seen...

  • its good but for me! the fab four is the best cover band of the beatles!!

  • para mi todos los que opinaron en este video estan bien pendejos, ya que estos pendejos pretenden cantar como los beatles, la veradad este video es de mala calidad y me da risa de que manera segun ellos cantan.

  • What is it with all these people trying to bag on Rain? I'm 15 years old, I saw Rain in Jacksonville, FL in January. They were AMAZING. I wasnt even close to being alive when the Beatles were alive. I love the music though, so seeing Rain made it possible for me to see what other people saw. It might not be exactly the same, and sure they arent the Beatles, but that doesnt matter to me. They were amazing anyways, and they are some of the best people you will ever meet.

  • @fuckingerinn Wow, I can't agree more!! <333. I saw then last night and that's exacty what they were trying to express. They told us we're the next generation and to forever keep the Beatles alive. They're just letting us, the people who weren't alive in the 60s, to experience their music live. It's amazing what they are doing(:

  • Get this i was able to meet 2 of them i have a shirt with their signatures my sister worked at the hotel they stayed at my sister was friends with them and they gave us tickets to their concerts. It was so awesome. they were really nice guys to. i almost was able to tour with them but i had a few weeks left in school and stuff. so i couldn't go =;(

  • Which 2?

  • I saw them last night and I am a musician myself...these guys are the best beatle cover bands I have ever seen...I am 56

  • I saw them live and they were fantastic. I would see them again in a heartbeat.

  • well no shit--

look at this, they aren't the beatles.

come on, no outside of the generation that was alive THEN actually saw them.

c'mon!! appreciate these guys!! they're trying to put on a show for those of us that didn't get to see the beatles but love them!

i've seen them twice and am willing to see them many more times.

    i would definately recommend them.

it's the experience. my mom, who isn't like a huge beatles fan even loves them.

    thumbs up for rain =]

  • I saw the Beatles, live. These guys don't hold a candle to the musicianship, energy, and talent of the Beatles. Sorry.

And when I need a Beatle fix, I can watch hours of video, movies, short films, and homemovies of them.

These guys are second rate poseurs.

  • but they bring the live experience that generations of us wont ever get to see again...

  • ...and still won't, because these guy AREN'T the Beatles, no matter how hard they try.

  • Hey look, you agree with yourself here sock ----puppet.

  • oh, cool, so you could hear the beatles live concerts, well, most people say you couldn't understand one note they played, but when you say it.

  • they kinda look like them but dont really sound like them.

  • Hey that's the John from 1964 the Tribute!

  • Actually, that's Steve Landes. The John from 1964 is Mark Benson. I can see where you'd see that though. Now that you mention it they do look and sound surprisingly alike!

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry.

    It's just not good enough.

Seriously, just listen to it without watching. At best, OK.

  • saw them play -

    absolutely amazing...

  • Not bad!! Nice! I like it!!

    nice cover band!! =D

  • There is something positively creepy about guys who dress up and try their level best to look and sound like other people.

    Creeps me out.

  • Yeh - but they're good! The accents are too - over the top,

  • haha thats true, but I love the Beatles so i would see a tribute band of them, since its not possible to see the real thing :{

  • Watching these guys is akin to having sex with a blow up doll: It might be fun for a couple minutes, but when the truth sinks in, you're gonna feel real stupid and creepy.

The Beatles have HOURS of wonderful videos. I'll take those, any day.....

  • How do you know what it's like to fuck a sex doll?

  • good.

  • im seeing these guys jan 18!!

    wooo

    the band "started" in 75

but didnt actually get the band going till late 70's or early 80's

yes joey[paul] is not left handed but he sounds just like him so does steve[john]

trust me these guys r awesome!

  • Hi-All ladies, you gossipy moon faced ninnies!I was around in the UK when the Beatles started, and finished up in 1970.These guys ARE the next best thing, believe me! Absolutely no-one is going to look EXACTLY like the lads, but hey narrow your eyes and use a little imagination! Musically, they are next to perfect, just remember that The Beatles did not tour after'66 so did not play their music on stage after that.Rain is near perfect when you consider the complexity of some of the later stuff!

  • I don't know them. Are they from the 60's or from now?

  • well, Rain has been around in some lineup or anther since 77 or so. The current lineup are all former cast members of the Broadway show, Beatlemania from the late 70's to '85.

I know all of the guys at least casually and are all great musicians.

  • OMG! Rain is my favourite Beatles Tribute Band ever! :D

  • comedy

  • Paul fucked up the whole Beatles tribute thing being left handed...thats hard to find a lefty that looks like Paul!!

  • I will tell you what...I saw these guys on PBS, and this guy (Paul) sounds like Paul...And I have seen alot of Beatles tribute bands!!

  • the fab four is better

  • Great job!!

  • Awesome!

  • I like them too, and am watching them on PBS right now, but I wish they wouldn't fake the Liverpudlian accents so badly.

  • Just saw their PBS special and they sounded great - they really make it seem easy as they seem to play effortlessly and it sounds exactly like the record. Great Job.

  • To ladbrady (left handed Paul)

Rain does Beatles music like a classical musician does Mozart or Beethoven. It's the sounds that counts.

  • they r good, but c'mon. Paul has got to be left handed!

  • on the fab four paul is left handed!

    more detailed

  • just saw them last night..theyre AMAZING

  • I s'pose you were In MA then,so was I. I went to the Hyannis show. They are awesome.:)

  • yeah i went to one of their concerts on thursday they were so good

  • i went to see this concert on saturday....THEY ROCK... THEY ARE SOOO DECENT.. SOMEWAT LIKE THE REAL THING!!!

    xOxO

    *MiZz PeNnY LaNe*

  • I need to see them when they come to Vienna!

  • i disagree imamoose24 i was so happy they did that song

    it sounded perfect!

  • I love you guys and have driven all over northern California to see you and dragged my family along with me - but I am going through Rain withdrawal - when will you be in California north of Sacramento again? Please say very soon.....

  • Great~!!!!!!

  • Saw them last night in Long Island.

They are the best of the many Beatle tributes i've seen. Please check out mine.

  • One of the better videos of them I've seen. I never understood that all of the hype was about with Rain but this video was really good.

  • Same here i saw them last night too at the fox they were amazing!!!!!

  • i just saw them like an hour ago... it was tight..i saw them at the fox theater and it was awsome any betales fan would love it

  • I also saw them. Really good show. I wish they hadn't attempted Strawberry Fields, but it was bound to go down. No band or person should EVER try that song.

  • I saw them once OH MY GOD!!! They are amazing! I recommend it to all Beatles fans. They are perfect in every single way.

  • I might be seeing them next week- as a rule cover bands are lame (sorry, it's true) but I've only read good things about them,- knowing that they will never TOUCH the Beatles in greatness- should I go see them? Just throwing this out there (preferably to someone who's seen Rain's live show)

  • Hey, I saw the live show about 4 hours ago. SEE THEM! SEE THEM! They are incredible, the vocals will blow you away! The closest thing you can get to the real Beatles, promise!

  • ok, thanks! i think i'm definatley seeing them. i'm kinda psyched. :)

  • Yes, you should see them.

  • Definately go, I just saw them last night in Toronto and they were incredible.

  • Well, I've seen Rain about 12 times...and I can say with all conviction...GO SEE THEM!! They are absolutely amazing musicians!! They absolutely capture the essence of the Beatles music!!

  • @Weirfan69 ...If you have the chance...I thought "1964 the Tribute" were pretty good, too. Had the sound and moves nailed. You could close your eyes and they sounded just like the Beatles. Just a suggestion. But, Rain? Absolutely...see them. :-)

  • i just saw them last night.

  • i just saw them yesterday

  • I like 8 Days A Week, the Beatles tribute band out of Cincinatii, Ohio. I saw them in Michigan City Indiana and they rocked.

  • shit! these guys sound better than the beatles. the speed is fine, I play this with my band and it´s easy to mess it up if you speed it up.

  • em excuse me no one sounds better than the original but saying that i am all up for tribute bands keeping there music live for this and folowing generations of beatles fans. by the way are they american they are usually a bit more thick and heavy with liverpool accent

  • Great cover!!!!!!!!!!!

  • aww, this is my favourite Beatles song and when i went to see Rain they didnt play it :( i hope they play it this time. Fingers crossed.

  • its the correct speed

  • Bien!

  • your right but not about speed the speed of the song is fine but ya there the best beatles tribute and I saw them live at the opera house and they were great they did the whole catalog and I got to meet them and play bklack bird back stage with joey caristolo

  • This is great. Love this song. Rain probably Best Beatle Tribute Band. I think this would sound better if played faster.
