[1/2] I'm sick of people putting M. Night down. Personally he is my idol. I think his movies are truely amazing and inspiring. I don't understand why people are hating. I guess some are just to thick headed and blind to see true works of art.

All his movies get me thinking and keep me watching. It confuses my mind when other people say negative things of hima nd his work. He's given us stories unlike any other.

I think M Night is eccentric and laid back which is misinterpreted by some as arrogance perhaps. But I think not. I think he's just the type of guy to leave you guessing about him....I don't think he takes criticism too seriously either he's just doing his own thing. And I just gotta say haters are gonna hate. But I still think he's pretty damn cool

I LOVE M.Night and all his movies; but I have watched this entire document and find most of it to be largely scripted! Maybe it's for effect...whatever? I doubt M.night is THAT difficult to talk to. This doc makes him seem untouchable...arrogant even! I don't know the guy...but doubt he's that way. He probably just has bad days like the rest of us. Those teens at his house need some acting lessons;) I DO,however, love the bit with the black bird landing behind him during the interview! Eerie!

i am so grateful that someone finally uploaded this. yes, it's a faux documentary. yes, it was made for publicity purposes (for the village). it is slow-paced as well, but none of that changes the fact that this IS a really good film. it's thorough and like the majority of all shyamalan's films, there's a huge, over-arching connection. it's wonderful. if you have the time, you should definitely watch it all the way though. it's one of my favorites.

If this was true, this would actually be a pretty good documentary, and one that ties in with most of his films. I don't understand why Sci Fi admitted the hoax. It's not like we'd have any way of verifying (or disproving) any of this, since Night's medical records are protected by privacy laws and any juvenile police records would be sealed. He could've kept the "hoax" going!

@DoubleTalkingJive I seen the original version. He was going to sue the makers of the film and Sci Fi so they figured out a way to cover it up. At a meeting with the makers, M. Night and Sci Fi producers, M. Night told Sci Fi if the they aired the doc, he was suing everybody! So they had to say it was a hoax because it was already in process of being aired. Sci Fi was all ready to air it until M.Night found out. So the lie benefits everybody. I dont think it's fake. That dude is WEIRD!!!

A mocumantary just to boost the "mystery" surrounding Shaymalan himself. Had it been done with the slightest sence of humor or selfdistance I could have stomach it. The result has turned into a major kick in the ass for Shaymalan himself - this type of film makes it really hard to take him seriously from now and hereafter.
