  • Most Def. I plan on pulling it out this weekend and seeing what's up with it.

  • I got my grandmothers 87 and it still looks new. She babied it. It has a new paint job (metallic grey), valuer seats and sitting under a 100k miles. I love old skool cars, but never thought about insuring this one until seeing your video. Its just been parked. It needs a new stereo system, but that's it.

    Thanks.

  • @sttephannyh You should make a vid of the 87 I would like to check that out

  • Got my 88 signature series about two yrs ago and its true that people love the original tires. someone stopped me on the street trying to buy the center caps with the lincoln sign off my tires. thought he was crazy...

  • @cancelok1 Whats funny is I still got all 4 caps 4 the stock rims my brother uses one as a ash tray

  • 1989

  • Just got mine today...sweet ride too it! ALREADY LOVE IT!

  • check mines out i have an 87 search (sc pics) on youtube by ogsillyrock23

  • i just bought mine for $700 with 80,000 miles, original works

  • since the mid 70's american cars became uglier each year. This car is sooo tacky and tasteless, sorry but my opinion.

  • Can't wait till I get my Burgundy 88 Town Car re-built and looking this good.

  • take those rims off and put on the originals thats a classic and you are ruining the classics

  • @jacobdaniel0123 OK I will tell the new owner to do that, I sold this car a while ago & moved on to real Classic's 1977 El Camino & 1978 T-Top Cutlass but you probley wont like them eather cuz there not on stock rims.

  • Damn great video for a great car man real clean real nice

  • I have wanted a 88' Lincoln Town Car since i was seven years old, I hope those cars are always around. In three years, when i turn sixteen, the TownCar will be my first car and hopefully my only car. That car is STILL the car the real OG's drive, or should anyway. Nice car man ! :)

  • If you look at the bar that holds up the trunk, the code is there. hahaha.

  • you got a good taste in rap music i see that devin the dude album there. nice lol

  • Clean car man im from the south and eveybody turns classics into donks i got love for the west coast and lowriders

  • fuck you, you lucky bastard. everybody has a nicer town car than me...

  • You've got a very nice motor man. These are so iconic and yours is in great condition!

  • Nice man. I got an 88 too but not this good. How many miles this got??

  • @MrLister09 120,000 miles

  • @100SpokeRiderz Nice. Not bad at all. Looks good man. Wish my 88 looked like this.

  • @shittyclothing56 NEVER chop a top its just not worth it even if you do it the right way by renforcen the frame&body so it dont buckel. You still have a problem no top24/7what if it rains or you go some where and park it anyone could steal your stuff or the whole car.If you want a convertible its always easyer2just buy a car already made that way cuz95%of the homemade ones end up in the junkyard

  • Beautiful car.. My parents were involved in a car accident...in an 88 Lincoln Town Car signature series...Believe me, to this day I still spot EVERY town car on the road.. Unfortunately my parents didn't make it...

Your car is a real beauty... take care of her.

  • I wish my 88 looked that good. what the hell is up with it? 3 cigarette lighters and no cup holders!

  • @NothingFigures2 a lot of cars from the 80's had no cup holders but back then you could smoke any were, now cars have 6 cup holders & not one ash tray.......crazy how times have changed

  • 1994 Midnight Blue Lincoln Town Car all OG nothin custom, fuck a gas price I LOVE my Stankin Lankin and wouldn't trade it for nothin.

  • Love your car just got an 88 lincoln of my own check my video out need yo help on telling me what sounds 2 get if u have a chance

  • nice car..too bad gas prices suck today..lincolns always had poor MPG. that was fine back in the days when gas was literally pocket change a gallon..ill never get to experience a lincoln again thanks to 4 dollars a gallon gasoline...sigh.. <:(

  • @elmolovescookies I ride a motorcycle 75% of the time that way when I do have to drive a car I can do it in a old school classic. I know gas is high but I just wont let it control what I drive, I dont care if gas gets too $10 a gal I will never buy a toyota prius. I was talking to this guy about gas prices & he was rollen a V12 BMW he said there is no such thing as a BAD ASS car thats good on gas, life is too short & ive worked way too hard to be driving some bull shit kia

  • Nice car!

  • sic ride homie just got me a 89 town car and i already have a 85 fleetwood brougham so you know how it is drivin big bodys aint nothin like it

  • Lincoln sux!

  • EY HOMIE YOU KEEPING IT OG DOGG.

    WEST WEST

  • nice car man, i just got an 88 an was wondering what wires would look like on her but it looks good so i will probably go with that. mines the same color to but with a gray vinyl top and blue leather interior.

  • This car is fucking crazy damn!! you doing it

    hats off to ya!!

  • thats a nice car.

  • ohhhh loooook at daa wheeelz!!!

  • The code for the door should be on the hinge of the trunk.

  • Take off those ugly wheels and you'll have a nice car.

  • @Cakerolled NEVER I love the look of spokes I will ride on wire wheels till the day I die, thats why my name is 100SpokeRiderz not StockRimRiders...LOL

  • @100SpokeRiderz well said bro, sweet whip

  • @100SpokeRiderz My Buddy in oklahoma has a 86' towncar Signature series in the same color with the same color paint and almost the same rims.

haha "not to bad inside" "pretty good condition" Dunno if its cause im watching from some where else in the world but damn that looks like a immaculate towncar.

3:26 hahah every town car glove box lid is like that.

  • @Cakerolled hell naw spokes are the way to go on any classic you must be in to those stupid ass donks on 24s and over hahahahahaha

  • @tyboy2400 You should make a vid of it & put it on your page I wanna check it out

  • verry nice car thats classy as hell

  • Hey whats up bro...nice ride man (Love the color too! Light Blue or another blue?). Ive got a 1988 also but mine is the regular model. I wanted the Signature Series with the digital dash but couldnt find one while i found mine. Plus I got a hot deal on mine. Mine is Silver and thinkin bout gettin a black rag top on mine too

  • what is it,s price ?

  • @waleedmaan1 What is a S Price??

  • hey where did you get that dash cover?

And was that top re done? my buddy is fixing up his towncar, and was wondering about how much it costs to re-do the vinyl top.

Looks clean man. Does your trunk motor still work?

  • @ganymedeIV4 Dash cover was already in the car when I got it

The top was OG it was in good shape when I got the car because the old man that had it B-4 me took good care of the car & always covered it up with a car cover

Yes the trunk motor worked fine

  • @ganymedeIV4 thanks man, His top was in great condition until a hail storm on the highway (live in Oklahoma)

Door handles and trunk motors seem to always break, but they are easy to fix.

Again the your towncar looks pimpin' : P

  • super clean. perfect.

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome car, dude. I used to have a 1983 Lincoln Mark VI, and I wish I'd never gotten rid of it. Love the look of the classic Lincolns.

  • Great car man, respect.

Is viper alarm a great alatm, no trouble?

  • @The1FastGP Ive had a few types of Alarms over the years but I must say I like Viper the best & Ive never had any problems out of a Viper, I cant say the same 4 the other brands. My next goal is to get that new Viper Alarm that works off a Blackberry or Iphone that way I know whats going on wit my ride no matter where Im at.

  • @100SpokeRiderz Thats cool

  • Nice ol school ride clean n simple

  • Nice ol school clean and simple

  • Best way to keep those cars man, alll original, I own an 84 town car sig series

  • @The18Jake 100%All Original is cool if you dont drive the car alot & have some where safe to store it but my cars set outside 24/7 so I need a aftermarket alarm. Also I drive my cars alot so I need a aftermarket Audio system its 2010 I cant deal wit a stock tape deck & cracklen 20 year old sun baked speakers.

  • why didn't you put some 13's ? you have to mod to fit the 13's ? but the car looks sick with 14s tho. you sell it ?

  • @Eact84 I just think 13's are to small for a BIG 4 door cars I think the bigger cars look better on the 14's my 78 Cutlass has 13's on it now but its a small 2 door & only mod I did to make them fit is shave down the break calaper bolt 1/4" Oyea I traded the Lincoln it was a great car but @ the time I needed a truck more. Ive been thinking about getting another Towncar but the 98-02 models

  • @100SpokeRiderz nice ! i got a 98 towncar i want to sit it on 14s but i need to modify it first.

  • @Eact84 Yea thats the only downside to the 98-02 Bodystyles they look great but you got to do a lot of work just to get some 14's to fit right & even more work to make 13's fit the right way.

  • @100SpokeRiderz yup your right.omg i can't believe you traded that beautiful lincoln for a truck !!!! lol damn it ! i would of buy it .

  • I SWEAR I HAVE ONE JUS LIKE URS JUS THAT MINE GOTTA WHITE RAG TOP N WHITE LEATHER TWO TONE BLUE N WHITE INTERIOR. NICE RIDE

  • PLEASE!!!....Take care of it...

  • that is an awesome car, really nice classic.

  • Land Yacht

  • WHERE DI U GET THE CHROME ON THE BOTTOM OF THE DOORS? I HAVE A 84 TOWN CAR AND IM TRYNA PUT SOME LIKE IT

  • @pako1192 The chrome at the bottom came stock on 1988, Im not 100 % sure but 84 didnt come with the chrome at the bottom. I would hit up a few junk yards & always keep a eye on Ebay daily

  • @pako1192 The base models did not have the chrome at the bottom of the doors, not even as an option, but the signature & designer models came standard with the chrome on the bottom. I believe that started in the 1984 model year, since in 84 the Town Car Signature and Designer series basically took the place of the 1980 - 1983 Mark VI. In 1984 The Town Car's seats (Signature and Designer series) were same as the 80 - 83 Mark's as well as the more padded vinyl roof around the rear window.

  • the 85-89 Town Cars, were the Rolls Royces of America, without the price tag. I'd love to get a 89 Signature. I had a 2002 TC new I loved it but it got totalled, and when I was a teenager I had a 63 Lincoln Convertible with the suicide doors. Yours is in really good shape , enjoy it. Ron L.

  • Oh,thanks. l was just looking for it.

your car? Very NICE envious of !

  • BAD ASS.I HAVE AN 86 LINCOLN TOWN CAR. NEW V8 5.O ENGINE, DUAL EXHAUST. NEEDS MINOR BODY DETAILS. BUT THESE AREAWESOME RIDES .

  • @rancholo76 The one thing that always tripped me out about these cars is it had the same motor that I had in my 90 Mustang GT 5.0, I think wit the right mods you can give thoes LT1 Chevy boys a run for the money

  • what a lady magnet! i love it! <33

  • @NineNouty Thanks your right the ladys did love the big Lincoln only thing I had that could catch there eye like that old car is my Sportsbike..LoL

  • very nice car, man

  • I have the same!! Great car!

  • @whywekill- I know that sub your talking about takes a BIG box with a lot of air space so one 18" will fit with no problems but two would be cutting it close it would be a very tight fit & really way to much bass for the car to handel so you would be better off going wit 1 sub

  • hi nice video thats a clean ass car but i was wondering do you know if you can fit a 18 inch fi BTL in the trunk? or if anyone knows?

  • i bought a 1988 mercury grand marquis...awesome fucking car..rides smoothe and is VERY comfortable

  • @Zohann Do you even own a car? Post a vid of YOUR 100% stock classic car once you get there then come talk to me.

  • @100SpokeRiderz well I'd like to say sorry for the brute way I said that, you gotta do what ya gotta do. But reguardless of the speakers or whatever, she's a beauty.

  • @Zohann let me tell you why its 2010 & I did not wanna ride around wit only a 80's tape deck in the car when 99% of my music is on flash drive or my MP3 player. I added a alarm so the car would not get stolen, I added rims cuz the stocks were just ugly. If you think that system is Ghetto & makes it a clown car that lets me know that you know nothing about cars at all. If you knew anything you would know that the Mods I made were small & the car could be put back to stock in 30 min or less.

  • Why add all the ghetto soundsystem bullshit to a perfectly fine car? It's a classic car that deserves to remain classic and un-clowned.

  • @Z0hann It's his car, he bought it, so he can pretty much do whatever he wants with it.

  • @jomexcity thats the stock front grill that came wit the car

  • hey bro where did u get your front grille?

  • my dads 88 tower car seats and dash are shit cus it set down in florida for like 10 year just siting

  • nice vehicle! i wish i owned one of these! very luxary and smooth ride!

  • The key to installing a deck & if its your first time is buy all the extra mounting stuff. If you dont have the deck already try Crutchfield everything you need comes wit the deck when you buy it from them. Main thing is DO NOT just cut the stock wires get the wire harnesses thats made 4 the car it will make the install a lot easyer

  • @tippman2k01 I dont have the car anymore I sold it but it did run great the whole time I had it. These cars are good as long as they have been taken care of over the years & how many miles are on it when you get it.

  • @100SpokeRiderz

thanks for the info. i checked out the marquis i was looking at and it runs like a champ, so im jumping on it. i am just curious...is it easy to install a new radio deck? because i know its only going to have a cassette player and i want to put at least a cd player in it. if you can send me a link or something on how to install a new deck, i would really appreciate it. thanks

  • hows that car running? im looking at a 1988 mercury grand marquis. and im curious how u like this car bc its pretty much the same as a grand marquis and ford crown vic

  • That car of yours is in great shape for it's age - you obviously took great care of it.

  • That car is in great shape for it's age - you obviously take great care of it.

  • she's just beautiful! Good purchase.

  • I loved when caddys and lincs had body style like this. When you look at the front with that grill

all I can think is "presidential motorcade"

LOL would be cool to have a limo place stretch this car for you. but then again this is a classic car and rare so leave it stock

  • Awesome ride! That trunk is so deep you could put a huge sub box in it. My favorite part about this car is the look of the front end! Oh yeah did I mention my pop has an 88 with 225k on the meter and still passes smog runs great very reliable cars!

  • the door code is on the right side trunk hinge I have a 87 and the owners manual said it and the numbers match to what my pop pop told me

  • nice lincoln

  • When I first got the Town Car it had like 98,000miles but when I got rid of it there was like 140,000miles. That car was a good car but if I ever got another Lincoln it would be a older one 1970-1979 but 2 door only

  • damn that shit is clean, that's like king of new york shit! how many miles u got on it? I really thinkin about gettin me 1 & doing a few upgrades of my own. nice cars.

  • Only thing factory I used in my Audio setup was the stock 6X9's in the back. JL Audio W1's Subs was ran on JL Audio Mono sub Amp

Pioneer Premier DEH-P510UB deck was running the JVC 6&1/2" door speakers & stock 6X9's.

  • hey were did you find the factory power amp in the car to replace the stareo

  • Looks like the headlights could use a bit of shining up though.

  • Finding older cars in such goos condition up where I live is impossible, the salt used on the roads in the winter just rusts cars away to nothing. Usually by the time a car reaches 5 years of age its started rusting on the bottom of the doors and around the wheel wells. I love the car, wish I could get one in that condition, looks brand new.

  • shes a beauty like an american mercedes but i like the simple touches you've added good job. Got a mercedes 300d w124 which is everyday car n getting something more sporty for the weekends not same as what you got there, those beautiful american v8's n real great looking cars but something lightweight that delivers thrill's on welsh roads

  • that car has class

  • great car.let me tell u im nto a fan of changin the rims, but classic job , congrats on gettin that dream car of yours

  • I see u got that smell my finger dat suga free da only shit i slap in my 1990 cadillac brougham im lookin to pick up a town car that same year

  • id love to have mine like urs though

  • ohh i got the Blue int too

  • I got tha leather seats Blue pretty good shape too the back seats are like new front driver side not as good

  • now that's a classic!

  • Yes I like Caddys if you look at the Lowrider caddy & 4X4 Truck Vids I got you will notice Im driving a Black 2007 SRX Caddy (you can see it at the end of this vid also) the rims that were on my Lincoln came off my old 1994 Caddy Fleetwood. Cadillacs / Lincolns are both good cars, are equal, & both worth owning

  • nice do you like cadillacs too?

  • Simple Elegance.

  • sweet 88..im picking one up from my great grandpa this week. im thinking about getting a new paint job for it tinting the windows and just putting a simple system in..its only going to be my daily driver intill my truck is some what done.

  • i like you men. that old men got some tricks!

  • Sweet ride.

  • i never really been a lincoln person, i'm more of the cadillac type but after seeing this video make me wanna go purchase an old school town car like this.

  • beautiful car! i have an 87 Lincoln that i want to restore.

  • Thanks for the info

  • If you want the code,it is on the hinge of the trunk inside,a white sticker,it will unlock the doors first, then the trunk.I know because I own a 1988 Lincoln Town Car,I wont drive anything else, they just dont make them like this anymore.

  • Could you please post a video of you driving this beauty?

    Thanks ;-)

  • nice =)

  • nice car 88 is a very good year there is alot of 88 lincolns out there still and alot 1984 caddys 84 is a good year for caddy to
