I'm a fan of The Beatles, Wings, and some of John's work. I do quite enjoy this band, and may look into it a bit more.

Brian Eno said that only 5,000 people ever bought a Velvet Underground album, but every single one of them started a band. That's why Underground music is more influential than pop music. Not everyone that listens to Katy Perry starts a band and wants to make music.

The Beatles have influenced all the music of future years. Velvet Underground are fantastic, but The Beatles are the best. And it doesn't matter if they sold or not, it was a time when to earn a lot of money meant to be very good artists

@TheTropicalwinter I have to agree, sir. There are albums that I think are in a different stratosphere, you can't really say one is better than the other. This album is one of those, so kudos Velvet Underground. The Beatles have so many excellent and culturally important works, it's hard to really grasp. I love both bands, but I know The Beatles influence more artists. Not that it makes one better than the other, just a fact. More importantly, this is song / album is stellar.
