@noctis11223344 this is a japanese anime based off an otome game for females. that's why it's in japanese. some of the chracters are european,russian and american which is why they have non- japanese names and sometimes speak in other languages. it's mostly how the japanese creators think foregners look and sound. the school is on an island far from japan or europe.

What I don't get is why Yuuta was blamed in the first place. If I'm not mistaken the whole situation came to light what Otaku-sama interrupted Yuu-chan's tour of the school, meaning that he'd been with Joshua the entire time when it was taken. Wonder why Joshua couldn't have just mentioned this at the table. Not sure if its a hint that he's not as kind as he seems or if its just a plot hole to cause drama.
