Oh God, how this wonderful music is poignant and depth unheard of! He meant by this piece of music is Beethoven's love for humanity and to God the creator. His works are resolutely eternal!
The bass voice transmits a sense of dispair and hopelessness when he sing the phrase of "miserere nobis"......
I think Beethoven search transmit that sense on "miserere nobis"; is a message from Beethoven to god, a message of sadness, a message to say "I am here", "felt my pain"........
Sir I would like to ask a question. I've watched a video in youtube that sings an orchestra song at its opening. Here is the video : ""Hundred Years War 12: The Treaty of Troys"". Could u please check it out and tell me the name of the song. Please? Tank u!
Beethoven, è l'artistita più grande che abbia mai calpestato questo pianeta.

no, i think the bass voice carries a message to God - forgive us, have mercy on us, for we have sinned...
i think this is very suppliant, though desperate

This is the best part from Missa Solemnis. And for me, one of the best vocal music ever composed. Thanks for sharing!

@billythekid20
For me Missa solemnis is the best vocal music ever and Agnus Dei the best part of it.
Tackar för de in i hjärtat gående bilderna av vår Frälsare! Så ville ju även Beethoven ha sin Agnus Dei.
