The Canon EOS Capture Utility

i got this working and then i changed a couple of output settings and now my 30D just flashes busy and the option for tethering is completely grayed out in EOS Utility. All I have is "Monitor folder". I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the program twice now, along with Digital Photo Professional. Any clue on how to get this working again? Thanks

I lost my CD for my Canon 5D. Don't even bother going to Canon website cause they will not let you download the entire CD itself which is the Canon Digital Camera Solution Disk. They will only charge you to get it. Around $20 plus $5 S/H. You need to do some serious soul searching to get this. I'm just lookin for the EOS Utility software for remote and I still can't find it.

@beerborn If you need to get the original software, and are comfortable with editing your registry (WIndows) there is a way to clear the settings so the EOS and DPP will let you use the installer...

how do i do a live view over the pc? i can only do it on my 450D, but i wanna see a live view via pc and ive clicked every button on both hardware and software and still nothing.

Remote Capture Software is part of Canon EOS Utility which comes with the Canon Software provided with your camera (It may only be provided with SLR's).

@beerborn The original installers are not available on the website. You have to either purchase or make appropriate registry edits (assuming a Windows environment) to make the software think it's not an update, but an original install
