All have those elements of Totalitarianism and Oligarchy. The similarities are more than the differences. Indeed, the roots of Fascism are in Socialism. The beginnings of the Progressive movement were based upon the suppression of dissent and individual civil rights (including institutionalized segregation and racism)

Have any of you READ about the progressive movement? Woodrow Wilson, our own president, supported eugenics before anyone even knew who Hitler was. If you people would read original sources instead of textbooks, you would see that this is true. And let me say one more thing: I hope Glenn Beck is wrong. Nobody wins if he is right. As a canadian medical student, I would like to advise Mr. Beck to do a little more "research" into the canadian health care system. First off, in regards to 'quality of life', it is strictly and solely the person involved who determined his/her quality of life. NO ONE can decide someone else's quality of life.
