I'm sure that if you go to a doctor and you have a testosterone deficiency, he will prescribe some sort of HRT (hormone replacement therapy). My insurance DOES pay for the hormones, just not any surgeries. As far as being LIBERAL goes...I have a very conservative background so while I am what I am, I am not brainwashed by any means. I don't prescribe to any religion so I cannot vouch for the whole god thing regarding "mistakes"....but really, if you look around you, mistakes are everywhere.
I do want to add that the only reason my insurance pays for the hormones is because I am registered as MALE with them. However, low doses of test are prescribed to women that are post-menopausal. So really, they can't deny me the hormones simply because of what I am using them for.

However, there is still that slight hesitation. Getting someone else to do it for you is always easier (if you trust them). I am not sure why you are on test, but women shouldn't take it. If I am mistaken about your gender I am sorry. But, I am pretty sure you have breasts. I cycle test E and d-dol. In women though side effects are extreme.

I am on Testosterone Enarth 250 injections twice a week for 12 weeks and d-bol 25 mg twice a day for 6 weeks. What sort of recovery are you referring to? It is legal for transgender therapy because a doctor prescribes it for a "psychological/medical condition". However, what is ILLEGAL is the use of anabolic steroids to gain a competitive edge...and not so much illegal but against major sports association regulations. The use isn't illegal if you have a prescription from a board certified doctor. But they don't prescribe certain things because THOSE would be the illegal ones.

Your comment is appreciated although, highly inaccurate. First of all, yes we are technically designated female due to our genitalia...but in our brains, we are male. We see ourselves as men, even though the rest of the world doesn't because they are looking at the exterior. So, referring to us as "gals" is not correct. Transmen works better. Next, there are still chances of getting pregnant while on the hormones, as well as if the hormones were stopped. It doesn't always kill the chance.
In addition to that, you will find that not many...hardly ANY transmen at all, have the desire to carry a child. Therefore, it is not really a concern when it comes to using the hormones. There are occasionally the few that for whatever reason, decide otherwise...and then they end up on national TV and in my opinion, making a mockery of transmen. Your last question in regards to obtaining the hormones is difficult to answer because the process is different everywhere.
I myself went through about 6 months of therapy in order to obtain a letter from a registered psych that I was indeed GENDER DYSPHORIC and that the only medical treatment for my disorder was hormone therapy and surgery to appear male and live as a man. That was over 2 years ago and I am a much happier, successful, and content person now that the rest of the world sees me as what I am inside! Others can get hormones illegally or legally without therapy, just depends on the doctor, etc.

well technically they are. Not a big deal though. people usually refer to steroid use when they use higher doses of testosterone and often other anabolic drugs like deca. Im guessing your taking about 100mg-200mg a week of a test E or test cyp. This is considered hormone replacement, however at a dose of 500mg and more you will have extremely high levels that are seen by bodybuilders and side affects to match.
1 more thing to consider in conjunction is an anti-estrogen like Anastrozole.
testosterone is a steroid. And, that looked like a rather large amount for a woman looking to have male characteristics. If you're looking to be more manly, weight lifting and nolvadex in conjunction with diet (and of course those steroids) should make you look very manly. Right now you're basically only taking advantage of the androgenic properties of testosterone. The anabolic is what will make an even more pronounced change. Good luck!
Don't take this the wrong way but where you are injecting might not be a good idea. You have a lot of fat in that area and might not be reaching the muscle. That will lead to poor absorption.

I am a female to male transgender person. I was born female, but with a male brain. My whole life I have felt as if I was given the wrong body. The only way to feel whole and comfortable with myself is to develop and maintain male secondary sex characteristics. Through the use of the male hormone, TESTOSTERONE, I have been developing and maintaining these characteristics. I have also had a surgery to remove my breasts and create a male-appearing chest.

I use MENS everything. I am legally male, so that would make it illegal for me to use female facilities. Also, for male to female transgender people, they don't just cut of their penises and grow out their hair. There is so much more involved in the process. Well...I differ from them in the sense that they are WOMEN and I am a MAN. They have female brains (most of the time) and are comfortable with their female bodies. Prior to beginning my transition, I was one of those very butch type lesbians also, however, always uncomfortable and always seeing myself as more male than female. I feel that a lot of those butch lesbians are actually non-transitioned transgender men who A) haven't realized it or B) don't feel the need to transition.

I should have been born male, but I don't regret being transgendered because I feel it is an integral part of who I am as a person. And for the most part, a penis doesn't truly designate you as a man, it is your brain. But since we don't have a medical procedure to define how the brain is male or female, we use genitals. Oh well! Although I do agree with you that your mind is what makes you man, I being a man must say that the penis plays a very important part. Much like what breasts and vigina are to be fully a women. Try using an 18 gauge needle to draw it out of the bottle and then replace it with you 21 or 22 gauge. It comes out a lot faster with the larger gauge pin..

It depends on your body chemistry and genetics. I had very little acne/pimples going through female puberty but through male puberty I've had a significantly increased amount. It sucks, but for the majority of guys it usually goes away in a few months to a few years. Really just depends on how your body reacts to the increase in testosterone. No "rashes" other than the acne. However, the fear of acne, baldness, etc was very secondary to developing my male appearance and feeling comfortable.
I happen to be a little bit of a fatbody so actually, the chances that I get very far into the muscle at all are slim, therefore the chances of the needle breaking in my ass are even slimmer. To decrease the chances of breakage even more, I use a 21 gauge needle. I've tested the breakage on it and it took quite a bit of force.

Needle change is good to avoid infection aswell as muscle damage, some needles tend to blunt after proding into the rubber seal of a vile, i dnt know if it depends on the needle manufacturer company or any thing but it is advised, ask some one at your local needle exchange to be safe. the last thing u want is some sortof absess like damage, look up Greg Valantino, i know the source is irrelivent to T but he did use infected needles. I am a male on Hormone replacement for over 15 year (hypopituitary). It has been my understanding that the shot in intermuscular. I take 200mg in 1ml biweekly with a 1.5 inch needle in my thigh. Move the injection site around to avoid scare tissue build up. Extreme hormone flux can bring on some nasty mood swings.
I also take daily GH shots with a short needle in the gut.

I have a bio male friend that uses the same stuff I do along with his workout routine. However, I don't recommend it because his nuts shrank quite a bit and now he is taking some other stuff to return them to normal.
When you are prescribed your hormone, your doctor will give you a prescription for syringes too. If he/she doesn't, consider another doctor. If you are getting your stuff illegally (which I do not condone) or without a prescription, I suggest you make friends with someone in the medical field that has access to them. My friend is a nurse so she was able to get them for me even though I had a prescription. I just got mine for free. They are cheap anyway.

On the age of 12 I had testosteron injections every 2 weeks for 3 years straight to prevent me from growing 7"3 tall. Im now 6"8 and quite happy that I did. But after reading up a lot of studies on the long term risks, I am not sure I would do it again. 9 types of cancer, impotence, increased chance of heart deceases etc. are a few of the long list of long term side affects. I'm sure that if you go to a doctor and you have a testosterone deficiency, he will prescribe some sort of HRT (hormone replacement therapy). My insurance DOES pay for the hormones, just not any surgeries. As far as being LIBERAL goes...I have a very conservative background so while I am what I am, I am not brainwashed by any means. I don't prescribe to any religion so I cannot vouch for the whole god thing regarding "mistakes"....but really, if you look around you, mistakes are everywhere.

dude...you get used to it. Doesn't really hurt...it is all psychological. I found it hard at first to jam a needle into my skin. I started doing it after a few drinks at first and it was much easier. However, there is still that slight hesitation. Getting someone else to do it for you is always easier (if you trust them). But in the end, if you really are trans...I don't think the needle part of it is really going to stop you. And, there are always creams!!

Ok I get it lol. I was just commenting on personal experience with test. I pretty much live in the gym and I cycle juice. I am on Testosterone Enarth 250 injections twice a week for 12 weeks and d-bol 25 mg twice a day for 6 weeks. I suppose I should have read the description better, lol :P I have seen women bodybuilders at the gym and what happened to them. Women should only use HGH honestly if they are going to use juice. What sort of recovery are you referring to? It is legal for transgender therapy because a doctor prescribes it for a "psychological/medical condition". However, what is ILLEGAL is the use of anabolic steroids to gain a competitive edge...and not so much illegal but against major sports association regulations. Your comment is appreciated although, highly inaccurate. First of all, yes we are technically designated female due to our genitalia...but in our brains, we are male. We see ourselves as men, even though the rest of the world doesn't because they are looking at the exterior. So, referring to us as "gals" is not correct. Transmen works better. Next, there are still chances of getting pregnant while on the hormones, as well as if the hormones were stopped. It doesn't always kill the chance.

In addition to that, you will find that not many...hardly ANY transmen at all, have the desire to carry a child. Therefore, it is not really a concern when it comes to using the hormones. There are occasionally the few that for whatever reason, decide otherwise...and then they end up on national TV and in my opinion, making a mockery of transmen. Your last question in regards to obtaining the hormones is difficult to answer because the process is different everywhere.

I myself went through about 6 months of therapy in order to obtain a letter from a registered psych that I was indeed GENDER DYSPHORIC and that the only medical treatment for my disorder was hormone therapy and surgery to appear male and live as a man. That was over 2 years ago and I am a much happier, successful, and content person now that the rest of the world sees me as what I am inside! Others can get hormones illegally or legally without therapy, just depends on the doctor, etc.

well technically they are. Not a big deal though. people usually refer to steroid use when they use higher doses of testosterone and often other anabolic drugs like deca. Im guessing your taking about 100mg-200mg a week of a test E or test cyp. This is considered hormone replacement, however at a dose of 500mg and more you will have extremely high levels that are seen by bodybuilders and side affects to match.
1 more thing to consider in conjunction is an anti-estrogen like Anastrozole.

testosterone is a steroid. And, that looked like a rather large amount for a woman looking to have male characteristics. If you're looking to be more manly, weight lifting and nolvadex in conjunction with diet (and of course those steroids) should make you look very manly. Right now you're basically only taking advantage of the androgenic properties of testosterone. The anabolic is what will make an even more pronounced change. Good luck!

This comment is not intended for illicit drug users, but when drawing up a syringe, one first needs to inject the same millimeters of air into the vial first so as not to create a vacuum thus making it difficult to get the medicine into the syringe. It also eliminates the air bubble problem. Normally one's physician would be instructing the patient of these proper self injection precautions. Alcohol wipe prior to injecting the site, rotating injection areas, avoiding the sciatic nerve...

I'm not really concerned about my injection process. I've been trained by 2 doctors and 4 nurses and no one has ever said a damn thing about the way I inject. Just because you do it a certain way doesn't mean everyone else has to. There are different ways to inject. Appreciate the comment but I don't think it is that useful.

I am a female to male transgender person. I was born female, but with a male brain. My whole life I have felt as if I was given the wrong body. The only way to feel whole and comfortable with myself is to develop and maintain male secondary sex characteristics. Through the use of the male hormone, TESTOSTERONE, I have been developing and maintaining these characteristics. I have also had a surgery to remove my breasts and create a male-appearing chest.

I use MENS everything. I am legally male, so that would make it illegal for me to use female facilities. Also, for male to female transgender people, they don't just cut of their penises and grow out their hair. There is so much more involved in the process. It is just easier for female to male trans people to blend in with the rest of society. Lastly, these are the kinds of questions that bring to light our society's serious lack of services, assistance, and resources for gender variant people.

Well...I differ from them in the sense that they are WOMEN and I am a MAN. They have female brains (most of the time) and are comfortable with their female bodies. Prior to beginning my transition, I was one of those very butch type lesbians also, however, always uncomfortable and always seeing myself as more male than female. I feel that a lot of those butch lesbians are actually non-transitioned transgender men who A) haven't realized it or B) don't feel the need to transition.

I'll probably catch shit for what I just said, but it is a personal opinion and I am not stating it as fact. And just FYI: not all of those lesbians are aggressive to just men, it is everyone in general. There is (IN MY OPINION) a hypocrisy within the lesbian community. They want everyone to accept them, but when others do not agree with their lifestyle they are just as unaccepting as those they condemn. Pisses me off for the most part.

Well, if you had checked out the tags for this video, you might see that there are several that appear to be related to the word "trans". If you look at them further you might see the full word. FYI, I am a female to male transsexual. I use Testosterone injections to develop and maintain male characteristics such as increased facial/body hair, deepened voice, increases sex drive, etc. That is why I am using testosterone injections.

I appreciate your setiments. While it is difficult having people view you as the opposite of what you are, I can't say that I've ever had a penis to miss. I should have been born male, but I don't regret being transgendered because I feel it is an integral part of who I am as a person. And for the most part, a penis doesn't truly designate you as a man, it is your brain. But since we don't have a medical procedure to define how the brain is male or female, we use genitals. Oh well! Thanks again!

Although I do agree with you that your mind is what makes you man, I being a man must say that the penis plays a very important part. Much like what breasts and vigina are to be fully a women. The penis is my source of sexual pleasure (as well as being a natural source of testosterone production), and I use it every day :) I think if that part of my manhood was taken away from me, I would see that as being the equivalent of taking away my life.

Try using an 18 gauge needle to draw it out of the bottle and then replace it with you 21 or 22 gauge. It comes out a lot faster with the larger gauge pin..

It depends on your body chemistry and genetics. I had very little acne/pimples going through female puberty but through male puberty I've had a significantly increased amount. It sucks, but for the majority of guys it usually goes away in a few months to a few years. Really just depends on how your body reacts to the increase in testosterone. No "rashes" other than the acne. However, the fear of acne, baldness, etc was very secondary to developing my male appearance and feeling comfortable.

I happen to be a little bit of a fatbody so actually, the chances that I get very far into the muscle at all are slim, therefore the chances of the needle breaking in my ass are even slimmer. To decrease the chances of breakage even more, I use a 21 gauge needle. I've tested the breakage on it and it took quite a bit of force.

Needle change is good to avoid infection aswell as muscle damage, some needles tend to blunt after proding into the rubber seal of a vile, i dnt know if it depends on the needle manufacturer company or any thing but it is advised, ask some one at your local needle exchange to be safe. the last thing u want is some sortof absess like damage, look up Greg Valantino, i know the source is irrelivent to T but he did use infected needles. Good look with your programme.

It is a intramuscular injection, therfore it does need to go into the muscle, why do you think you need to asperate it before u pump it in? To avoid nerves etc, which you dont have in fatty tissue, and ther could be a 'bad apple in the basket' therfor you really should avoid sticking the needle into the muscle all the way just to avoid risk' simple!

individuals who have androgen insensitivity syndrome have XY chromosomes plus a mutation in the androgen receptor, so although they have a male genotype (chromosomes/ genetics/ genes) they have a female phenotype (physical appearance) and are usually raised as females because they are born with female external genitalia.

I am a male on Hormone replacement for over 15 year (hypopituitary). It has been my understanding that the shot in intermuscular. I take 200mg in 1ml biweekly with a 1.5 inch needle in my thigh. Move the injection site around to avoid scare tissue build up. Extreme hormone flux can bring on some nasty mood swings.
I also take daily GH shots with a short needle in the gut.
How much are you taking? for how much longer? Do you get your testosterone levels checked?

Your GH shots are most likely Subcutaneous...from the sound of it. I'm a genetic female who is on HRT to develop male secondary sex characteristics. I have always been male in my brain, this is part of how I am making the outside match the inside. I also move the injection site around for the same reason. I inject the same amount as you once a week. I most likely will have to take the hormones for the rest of my life. Yes I get my levels checked. I'm right in the middle of normal range.

When you are prescribed your hormone, your doctor will give you a prescription for syringes too. If he/she doesn't, consider another doctor. If you are getting your stuff illegally (which I do not condone) or without a prescription, I suggest you make friends with someone in the medical field that has access to them. My friend is a nurse so she was able to get them for me even though I had a prescription. I just got mine for free. They are cheap anyway.
