  • Thank you! Brings back some good memories for me! :D

  • This is brilliant, I've never seen it before!

  • the girl in the vid looks like dana plato's (different strokes) kid sister!

  • WHO was that girl?

  • Wow! Haven't seen this video in years! This is what made NYC cool growing up in the 80s! Made of win! 2:39 That Kamikaze Kim lady is freakin' powerhouse spinning the girl on her noggin like that and dancing at the same time!

  • @Gionta21ftw Thanks - us females were always pushed aside - and NYC was the Best place to growup !!! actually spinning the 2 guys were easier than spining the 2 girls !! (the guys had no junk in the trunk) LOL

  • even white girls dancin'--- I like it.

  • 1:16 that's not fair! They get 3 black guys!

  • yep yep yo! gOOd old Times....

  • WHeres RockSteady...i love Beat Street but this is one lame ass video....

  • @HuckleberryNitro where's UR video dude? BTW Dynamic Breakers & Dolls were to be in BeatStreet w/ the RSC but due to reasons we dropped out - We didnt have any control over the script or editing my girls &I did handglides windmills floats all power moves but they put that weak crap in !! People dont realize Breakin Hip Hop was new to corp world we had to fight just to get Break Dancing taken seriously -& Thank Mr. Belafonte 4 changing the script to make it more "Hollywood" instead of Street

  • This scene wasn't in the movie.

  • Not only a catchy song, but catchy video plus.

  • I Loved NY Hot Tracks TV show!

  • I remember getting the soundtrack for Christmas in '84 - at ten years old. I was in heaven. And this was one of my favorite songs off of it - This Could be the Night and Frantic Situation were other ones I liked. Funny thing is, I never saw the movie.

  • @sirlordwhitman tell me u watched it by now

  • @1toppdogg LOL yeah, rented it off of Netflix. Way more 'street cred' than the

    L.A. counterpart 'Breakin'

  • Trash

  • she turns black in the end wow.

  • Knee high socks!

  • eat your eggs before i break your legs

  • lmao the girls face at the end

  • the kid was in this vid

  • Damn, this song is so bloody catchy!

  • 1:31 bad move,amateur

  • why the frisbee??

  • Cause we weren't Greedy - There are So many people in his Video that Just happened to be in the park while we were filming - so they put them in too. Most of the crowd at the end were justt people hangin at the park that day....

  • Awesome. Classic tune. Hail Beat Street.

  • yer man those were the days of breakin. beat street rules. every culture, colour and creed in america could dance like this back then. im from uk and british cant do this to save there lives. were crap at dancin. lol

  • everybody dances but LEE..he was a cool _ss young bull then

  • New York Hot Tracks did'nt do their research. The artist on this song is a group from North Carolina called Juicy. The same group had another hit in late 1985 with "Sugar Free."

  • reeeeeeeeeeal goooooooood song

  • Everytime I watch this I wish we would have been a little more camera greedy. They didn't even show our best moves. The Dynamic Dolls/ Breakers - Kim - a Kazi

  • Are you one of the breakers from Beat Street?

  • I am ! i the girl spinning the other girls

  • Who's the girl in the first ground? The one trying to learn how to rock?

And is this guy, who helps her, Robert Taylor from Beat Street movie?

  • She was just some girl- I hear she's a teacher now And Yes that is Robert who played "Lee" in the Beat Street Movie! :)

  • Still love this movie...

Do u know, what robert taylor is doing today?

  • dope vid

  • I remember this song,I,m 35 years old.Cool,fantastic,80's forever!!

  • classic tune from classic movie, my fav

  • The character Lee, was so cute. I wonder what he looks like Now. Boy was he fine.

  • Aida Angotti in the background Freshalicious!!!

  • Aida!!!!! Oh Man she went out with Lil Shake - I wonder how she is???????

    Kim (Dynamic Dolls)

  • this seems such a weal attempt to bring this to the mainstream audience..

  • i thought the same thing i only watched the whole thing cause lil Lee was in it. These kids were real lame dancin like they read the directions in a book.

  • Oh really??? Anytime Buddy - Im the girl spinning the other 2 girls and WE didnt have a say in editing - they cut out all our best moves - corporate dont know Jack about breakin. Wheres Your Video?? Can U spin 2 guys>> Or even 1 on ur head??? I DID!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ok babygurl sounds like u had it goin on cause i cant say i spun two people on my head. The breakin years i was like 9-12 yrs so i was too little anyway to do it.

Ok maybe it was the editing but the finished product kind of sucked, so ill say the director (and some of them dancers, not you) were lame.

I never had a video but my uprock and backspin were ill for a little kid!

  • Thanks - Thats Okay - We didn't have any say in the script either- same as we had no input in The Movie Beat Street either. But we took enuf slack on them both, Today if u can Break your great - Back in the day U were considered a Thug a criminal - It wasnt as accepted every opportunity had to be taken weather you thought it was good or not, so I know this wasnt an award winning Video But it was another step closer to Making Break Dancing Acceptable.. So please - give us a Break! :)

  • @BklynNYbabe1 Word! Thank ya'll. I was lovin' this movie when it first came out...and I still do!
