Yes, very lovely scene. I agree with nzqwerty that Uma lacks some acumen with accents. The Brooklyn accent - or any NY accent for that matter - is extremely hard to do. Many have tried, most have failed. She is really replicating an accent much closer to a modern Brooklyn men's accent in this film. The early 1900s Brooklyn womens' accent was very different and very distinct. My late Aunt Sarah was a perfect example of it. Thurman should have interiewed some aged women from Brooklyn.
