This is obviously a 'life lesson': Too many children is too much responsibility! Wait untill you're old and grey like your parents untill you have children too :)

As you can see by your Tamagotchi collection, too many children is too time consuming and exhaustive what's more, you can't simply wait till the batteries run down and put them in a draw till later!

Have a happy life and remember about the Tamagotchi's or better still ask your parents about how exhausting children are ;)

Broken? What do you mean? If the screen is blank, it means it needs batteries. The battery-is-out-of-power pixel sign will only last a week, and then it'll loose all of the battery power and just go blank. If it makes a "beep" noise while the old battery is still inside, take it out, because it means the tama needs to have it's battery changed. Just put the new batteries in the so called "broken" tamagotchies, and I think they'll start up again.
